@@YourPalKindred Time and time again when we watch videos about people being abducted or kidnapped the first 24 or 48 hours are literally the most important, the victim may still be alive or they are deceased noone knows until they are found. If someone reports a missing person it should be taken seriously and have people looking for them immediately. There's videos and documentaries of people who had been abducted and within the first hour of them being reported missing they had been found and the abductor arrested and sentenced, of course not all situations are this successful I do understand that.

One of the things that really stood out to me in this case was that Lori’s family removed “Hacking” from her headstone because they “just felt that Mark obviously didn’t want her anymore.” While they replaced it with _filhinha_ (Portuguese for “little daughter”), that quote literally broke my heart. Idk what happened to Mark, because he had the best parents, always there for there kids, and very involved. One guy I talked to said he was assigned to guard Mark and he felt pure evil emanating from him. Mark was a chronic liar and his lies came crashing down on top of him. Rather than ask for help, he thought he’d cover it up with more lies and death. Narcissists are truly something despicable. My step-father is one. Being raised by him was miserable and I hated myself for twenty-five years because of him. Thought I was worthless. I know better now. But I fear for my mom's safety because he confided in the past that, after their breakup, he had thoughts of killing her because he couldn't have her. Narcissists are terrifying.

Simply confronting your spouse for their own deviant, pathological behavior & calling them out for getting caught in their own web of lies??!! I would have been beyond angry & irate had I been Lori! So tragic! Why did SHE have to pay such an enormous price...why did SHE have to pay any price at all?? So glad to hear that her family decided to remove that monsters last name from her grave stone. But then about a half an hour later detectives came and pulled him out of class the next thing I knew we were all being questioned individually about what he told us turns out he had actually killed a woman the night before he snuck into her house and stabbed her to death and raped her. I remember reading cases like this when I was a kid and... I could understand how they got there. I used to have to lie about school, I just couldn't hack it and my parents were harsh about it. It scared me to think that I could relate to murderers. Once I moved out, I made a real effort to never lie. It's a shameful habit that's surprisingly hard to break, but I did it. I don't need to lie anymore, and I'm really bad at it now lol

Worst thing was that he had friend who were doctors and when they talked about their work they couldn't tell that he was a liar cause he actually studied discovery in medical fields.
