I want to tell you you how thankful I am for you making this video. My brother was having problems on his computer since the day he got it which now was a year and a half ago and his games kept crashing after 5-10 minutes of playing and I tried so many things to get this fixed of turning in the gpu and thermal paste on the CPU and some other things and today finally I tried updating Bios and it works. I’m so so beyond happy right now and I just want to tell you thank you so much!

Thank you so much. Luckily mine rebooted right into windows but xmp was turned off. Quickly went into bios to turn it on and all is good. Take care!

Running into the same issue most have had so I began following this tutorial. Great video to follow along, ultimately after starting the process of the bios it performed a restart and the display shows nothing and my fan lighting is still on. Seemed normal at first then it began to loop powering off with no lights then back on and still no display. I left it alone for nearly an hour since I read some bios updates can take up to 30 minutes.
Since then I have tried, based on other videos:
    1. A bios reset by removing the batter for 10+ minutes.
    2. Clearing the bios with jumper.
    3. Removing components from the board and resetting them.
This troubleshooting is beyond the scope of this video but I was wanting to see if anyone else ran into this while updating their mobo bios?

Does it have to be a thumb drive? at the moment I don't have one available, only an external HDD and the internal SSD

You probably need another USB...or change formatting. Fat32 works well if yours will allow it.

What settings did you change? i'm afriad if i do this i may get stuck lol. how'd you get back to windows after updating BIOS? and does BIOS change things back to default or keeps your settings as is? in your video it seems like it changed everything...

    • @PC_HardwareTechUnboxing_1

It always changes the XMP to disabled. If you have more than one HDD, SDD...it may change the boot priority on you. I have not figured out anything else that changes...and I have done 500-1000 bios updates.

Has anyone ever run into issues with this board not recognizing an M.2 in the M2P_CPU slot? It won't show in disc utility, BIOS, Macrium, device mngr etc. I'm running an Inland Gaming Performance Plus 2tb PCIE gen 4x4. 2280 I've been searching through BIOS to see if there's a toggle for the M.2 slots with no success and have reinstalled the drive physically for redundancy twice. Nada. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

i heard that slot only works with 11th gen cpu.

@@noknights123 Yeah after another couple hours of digging I confirmed it on the motherboard info page from the manufacturer. They really hide that shit and don't word it well at all lol. I'm running it in the gen 3x4 M2A slot just fine (but disappointedly). Appreciate the reply though, thanks.

Same dude I recently got a Samsung 2TB 970 evo and I’ve been trying and trying cause it hasn’t popped up on anything either like your situation I have in the top slot (cause the bottom slot is occupied with a 500gb) so I’m just thinking of swapping the spots or just completely cloning it if that still doesn’t work, right now im debating if it’s the bio’s update I need
