Bypassing the need to connect to the internet as part of the Windows 11 setup is an underrated top tip. During Windows 10 setup you used to have this option, and hiding it as part of the Windows 11 setup is a bit of a sneaky move by Microsoft to try and force adoption of using an MS account. Great content, very well presented, I always learn something new from your videos 👍
Just a quick and public Thank You. Your channel has been helpful in my first build. Just turned it on for the first time and all the lights lit up! Now I've got to do the BIOS update and Fresh Install of W11 and such... after a celebratory bottle of red wine and a proper 8 hours of sleep. Your channel has been such a help and I personally vibe with your communication style. Well done. Cheers. ps took ur advice from a 'bang 4 buck' video and chose z690 aero g ddr4 + intel i5 12gen + 4070 ti + 64 GB Ram (w rgb because it makes it go faster, right?) + Two 2 TB nvme + peerless assassin (but RAM too high so I am running with ONE cup fan for now) + 850 W evga PSU + an nice case from Lian Li black r216 x or some such beauty. I would have never been able to do this without your channel (and a few others that reenforced the thoughts, reviews and encouragement. Thank You!
Great content as usual. I have just managed to build a new PC from scratch with zero previous experience thanks to your detailed instructions. Thank you
Thats the BIG Mystery. “What are you suppose to do with the Computer ?”. Steve Jobs and Bill Gates both said “The Computer is to bring together the worlds people to help solve world problems”. Steve Jobs said “We don’t ship JUNK” and “Build the Best computer and don’t settle for anything less”. I like to live by the Philosophy of these smart computer pioneers and many others.
I'm actually saving money to build a 5700g desktop, I'm going to apply all of these steps you presented, you are such a big help to us beginners man, thank you so much!
This video is needed for the purpose of knowledge sharing, also share the video with other motherboard companies as installation process what you showed now 👍
nice video has usual, i don't advice you to use gigabyte control center, there is a backdoor on it and it creates a ghost admin account on windows, it was publish recently. cheers
i keep 2 usb drives (physically) inside the computer somewhere. 1 for the clean install of the OS and 1 for the BIOS. these are only for their intended purposes and i don't use them for anything else. they're labeled and i have a small anti-static baggie for them. not sure the bag is necessary but i have them so i guess it doesn't hurt. as a standard since i have at least 4 computers all the time, i personally like tape them to the wiring side of the box so i don't mess up the aesthetics of the build. (i might start using velcro for this.)
1. not mentioned VMD troubles , EZ sata ahci flpyx64 drivers on usb install stick during install, VMD much faster for nvme drives than AHCI generic mode. personaly tested. recommend VMD mode set in bios 2. not mentioned, every bios update, shiet windows hello PIN deleted, malfuncioned, need remove pin before bios update, than set it again
The question in my mind apart from this video: If Windows 11 checks for TPM 2.0 and Hard-drive encryption to be enabled. Why? Don’t they use them to secure the Operating System. They are disabled in the registry. Next, if loading this on a Hypervisor Windows 11 installs with no problem.
Love this video. Wish i had watched the part about not connecting to wifi before i did it....mainly because ive installed windows so many times One thing i did want to ask, i didnt have to update my iGPU after doing all windows updates and gigabyte updates. Is there a way to do that manually?
RUFFUS have option to debloat the microsoft-dogshit like "tpm" and "account" with one-click! You can choice to use same username (setup will not ask to make a new user)
Can you make guide/tutorial for installing 4 sticks of Ram with cons and pros, I researched that it's better to get 2 sticks only compared to 4, because it might decrease the frequency, not sure if that still apply to current generation of Rams like sa Gsklil Trident DDR4. Some people started with 2x8gb or 2x16gb > then upgrade their Ram capacity once they have the budget, but the downfall is we might get slower frequency, but im not so sure. Or someone can advise me. My mobo is b760 tomahawk wifi + i5 13500 + 2 stick of 8gb Gskill Trident Z 3600 mhz
I am in the process of building a new rig for the first time in years. I'm running an Asus z690p wifi d4. I had planned on doing a bios update firs thing before a windows install, however the latest bios says i should update the intel management engine first. Second problem is i have an arc750 as my gpu (got it on the best buy sale) and i would like to at least update to the firmware it states adds support for arc. Again the bios page states to update the management engine before that version of bios. Any suggestions for how to go about this? I do have integrated graphics on the processor. Maybe just get it up to date before the arc card? Thanks in advance.
Could you explain how to setup a dual gpu configuration + dual nvme ssds on Z790 mb? Because the i9 13900 has only 20 pci lanes, how to set the pci bifurcation ? Using dual gpus the nvme slot 01 must be leaved empty because it shares the 16 lanes with the gpus? Is it better to install the two nvme drives on slots 2 and 3 because they are handled by the Z790 switch?
Hey Bro I Motherboard B550M Arous Elite Ax When I am controlling My Ddr4 RGB ram There not Showing Option for DDR ram RGB control Tell me what's to do I 😢 Amd Ryzen 5 5500 AMD Rx6600 Please Help me
Im looking to upgrade my old gpu (rx570 ) i already bought a new i7 13700k and 32 gb ddr5 at 6000 mhz. Which gpu should i buy if my budget is about 600 euros. My power supply also has the new 12VHPWR connector. Thank you !
Can anyone tell me why I can't access the internet through Ethernet or Wifi when in the windows 11 setup? I often have to bypass that just to finish setting it up and would rather do it properly. No wifi networks appear and it doesn't seem to matter if I've got an Ethernet cable connectes either.
Coz they Win install you had didn't have drivers for your lan nor WiFi, try to make a new version of the install USB, that would include newer version of Windows that includes abit more drivers for newer hardware if that makes sense.

I have seen and liked Many of your videos and found them helpful and entertaining. But we have an issue. Whokeys that You promote Oct 12, 2022. (you are still promoting it in July 2023) I got one. My bad I didn't check it out, but after I did get it with your 25% TN20 discount code (thank you) I found out that it's a Hong Kong company. I don't like sending personal information to Chine. Also, I found out that their "trustworthy rating was 17% out of 100%, With multiple complaints of not receiving the product and unauthorized purchases on CC. Well, Guess What. 2day after getting my code. My CC which I have not had an issue with for 8 years got a hit for almost $1000 in a town 300 miles from me. At a Lows, Pick up is ready in the morning, I have advised the police in that town of this information and I will also advise Homeland Security of the situation that you may be working with a Chinese criminal fraud ring. I hope you got a lot of $$$ for promoting/working with a criminal organization. Have a nice day.

lol most moatherboards have online bios update you just need a lan cable for it so you avoid wrong bios flashing
PERFECTO! Exactly what I wanted to see you showing.

One thing i did want to ask, i didnt have to update my iGPU after doing all windows updates and gigabyte updates. Is there a way to do that manually?
Not sure what you mean, but Intel support assistant would help to update iGPU driver :)
@theTechNotice I did that but the only option it gives me is for the Intel Arc
Can I use the same USB drive for both windows install and bios update?
Waiting for your videos as always ❤
Thanks!
OMG! Your daughter is so cute💙💙😍😍💙💙💙💙💙💙💙
Does win11 have a critical feature/enhancement for creators that win10 doesn't?
If you're running Intel 12th or 13th Gen then Win 11 is required, coz the windows scheduler works better with e- and P- cores.
@@theTechNotice required huh
@@theTechNotice what if i gaming on intel 12th with Win 10
How do you turn on secureboot to update to Windows 11 i have an asus prime z790 and i just cant turn on secureboot
instead of ethernet, can we wirelessly connect to wifi after coming onto windows?
You can. Depending on your connection it will take a bit longer to update your various drivers and software, but it will work fine out of the box.
That clip at 0:14 was like looking in a mirror. I feel attacked 😂.

Beautiful daughter, god bless 🙏
My usb ports go into hibernation 15 minutes after powering on. What could be the issue? I cant seem to figure it out. Thanks!
can i use the same usb and have both windows media installer and updated bios?
No. Check out his videos, but the windows USB is an image and cannot have the other files located there.

The 12600K costs $50 more than the 13500 in my area. Should I go for the 13500 or should I push my budget to get the 12600K? Thank you.

They must have patched that bypass, because it's not working now.
