    The uninstaller I got from your first video about it, was great for me. I had Windows keep telling me that an old printer needed to be updated and so under the "optional Updates" on windows it would always say one files needs updating and no matter if I installed the update which sometimes would say it worked and sometimes it would say it did not there would always be a one showing up in that section. I used the uninstaller to get rid of whatever software was left behind Identifying the files thru the printer number and it removed all the junk left behind when the printer was originally uninstalled. Now there is no one next to the Additional updates unless there is actually one that I need to do. It was so satisfying to finally get rid of that old printer driver that I could not get rid of any other way. Made me very happy!

    My only regret is that I didn't find this channel 6 years ago when I bought my first PC (pre - built). Now I just built my gf a PC , me a new PC , and also my older brother a PC all within 2 weeks. So I was running into issues and really needed all this info plus other info on the channel. I want to thank u so fucking much for what you do!!!!! I have learned more in the last 2 weeks watching this channel then I have in the past 6 years of being a PC owner. Oh also it's awesome to hear iBuyPower is a great company for pre-built PCs and I can attest to that seeing that my PC is 6 years old and I have never had one hardware nor software issues ever!!! Only issue I ever had was overclocking my CPU to 5.0ghz (i7-8700k) and it didn't like it lol. Now I'm running a rtx4070ti super, i9-13900kf, and 32 gb of ddr5 ram. pronounce
      Light
      Amplification by
      Stimulated
      Emission of
      Radiation
      i'll wait
      the content of the acronym does not matter, its pronunciation is determined first by how the acronym feels in the mouth and how the creator of the acronym says it's pronounced if it does not make an existing word
      in this case, though, Graphics Interchange Format shortens into the old english Gif, pronounced Yiff, which is the original spelling of "if"
      so realistically, the G should neither be hard nor soft, it should be silent

    • @Koutouhara
      @Koutouhara 7 месяцев назад +4

      @@d3str0i3r Yeah exactly! Acronyms don't care about what the sound of the word that makes it, it's irrelevant to the pronunciation of the acronym; if it did matter than well known terms like LASER, AIDS, JPEG, and SCUBA wouldn't be pronounced by the standard that we do. GIF is just in a grey enough area that it can be pronounced both ways by what the speaker feels comfortable with. I personally have an accent that makes soft 'g' GIF more comfortable. People understand what I'm speaking about so it doesn't hinder communication, which is all that matters :)
      Plus, I don't want to have to pronounce SCUBA as 'scubba' 😬

    • @blackrock1961
      @blackrock1961 7 месяцев назад +9

      The best argument to pronounce it with a soft G is because the creator of the format said that is the correct way to say it. I support the right of all inventors to name their invention.

    • @FoxBall47
      @FoxBall47 7 месяцев назад +3

      these kinds of arguments never hold water, as there are several words that use soft g's as well, pronounce "George" or "giraffe" or "gym" for example. the inventor of the format specified a soft g, and on top of that it rolls off the tongue far easier that way too.

  • @vanwrinkle-01

    Most of the programs you mentioned are beyond anything I need. However, I've used Revo for many years. It's an awesome program. Another program I use to monitor temps as well as get a lot of info on my systems is Speccy. My main computer is an old ASUS M5A97 R2.0 running Win 7 so I don't need a lot monitored and I understand nothing about over clocking. However, it does monitor the temps of the CPU, Motherboard, hard drives and my video card which is an AMD HD 5450 and right now it's running about 44 C. Nothing on my system runs any hotter than 50 C.
    I know it's not some big gamer's computer but I'm not a gamer. I have a couple shoot em up games I like to play just not online. The system is dual boot and the second drive is strictly for those games.
    Another of the programs you mentioned was Fan CTRL. I used it for a year or so and then removed it. I couldn't figure it out so I got rid of it. I was able to control the fan for the processor but none of the others. I did check it out online but most youtubers use language that I just don't understand. They don't use layman's terms so I have , in most cases, no idea what they're talking about.
    I do find your videos very interesting and understandable and they get me thinking. I think that's important so I'll continue to watch your videos.
