- The Honda NX500 is the newest motorcycle offering from the Honda two-wheeler stable. It gets refreshed styling with new elements that make heads turn while you're riding it. While it is a successor to the CB500X, it retains the same 471cc, parallel twin, liquid-cooled engine which makes 47bhp and 43Nm. Feature-wise, Honda has kept it mellow and focused more on the riding experience, giving it a 5-inch TFT display with smartphone connectivity. In terms of performance, this bike is surely a comfortable cruiser that can sit at triple-digit speeds. Karan rides it around the straights and twisties to find out how it handles our road conditions and whether you should consider this bike as your next motorcycle.

Price little bit high
I picked this over the Triumph Scrambler 400X (which I loved) and the Himalayan 450 (which I didn't enjoy one bit on a short test ride). The bike is definitely priced steep, all things considered. I'm glad you talked about the choppy throttle in the initial gears; nobody else did. But for some reason, unlike the popular opinion, I don't find this engine to be overly smooth or vibe-free. It has a mild buzz across the rev range and it only goes up with the revs. And this is coming from someone riding a BS3 Himalayan for 8 years. And that suspension; the front is great at absorbing small undulations and bumps but the rear is just too soft and unsettling.
Rivals ? Who ? all singles and viby 😅
Manufacturers launch, RUclipsrs review, that's it. These vehicles won't be seen either on our roads or even in the showrooms.

I have booked it 1 month back. The waiting period is 3 months and the OTR is 7.1L in Hyderabad.

Indeed Honda has quality, full points to that. But lately all the manufacturers have caught up with the quality levels and have value proportions to offer, while the Japanese are getting away with only Quality and nothing more. As a customer the Japanese brands are not focused enough to compete in the current market.
Yes, other brands do offer similar quality levels these days, the NX is a robust machine that does nail the riding experience when it comes to touring. So if that’s what you’re looking for, this does offer a great riding experience without compromising on much else.
Honda is not delivering these bikes until next year! What is the point of launching it here. Hopeless!

They have stopped the delivery of this bike in bangalore, next avilable date is March 2025.
Its a pity that they've suddenly stopped the imports. I booked mine in Feb and now Honda says I will receive my bike in October or even early next year. Beat that.
Why don't you put in the microphone inside the exhaust ? it would (SARCASTICALLY) give you a better exhaust note to record !!!

This is definitely an expensive bike, But if compare it with similar //twin engine bikes like trk, ninja, R3, then the price difference doesn't seems much, compared to single cylinder options. Still expensive though !
Yes. The NX is expensive. But if it is a bike that suits your needs it’ll certainly keep you happy for a long time to come

Why is everyone giving it's review.....we all know it's a good bike but very few will be buying it looking at its price.....giving more review will not make it cheaper...😅
Remember the CB500X? first a step price cut, then sudden withdrawal from the market. This time, again the bike has disappeared from the showrooms. They are saying no more deliveries this year. Can't trust Honda, the are just NOT serious about this bike. Leaning towards the desi H450.

You can't buy this one even if you wanted to. Deliveries pushed indefinitely..
To buy this bike one has to give Rs 2lakh bribe to Bharat Sorkar😂not worth it especially my tax payment is used for PM’s luxurious aircraft.
