15:10 Haddin has completely lost it. These things are part & parcel of a test match. If Kohli had caught Marnus' catch, Australia would've been all-out for 27. If you are going to say that oh, had that fielder been 2 meters back, we would've won the match, then God help you. He is afraid of saying that India outplayed them completely & Oz took them for granted & now the series is most likely going to be won by India.

They would have sang symphony if Virat was out early but no this time around he had a platform. What about the times he never had a platform and bailed the team out of tough situations.
The fact of the matter is whether India plays the test championship final or not, due to their this kind of arrogance, India will again lift the BGT.

5-0 Prediction merchants🥲, Alyssa probably hasn't seen the test match or is mis-analyzing it completely. "Intent" ,"relentless" these are cover words. Brad is correct about KL but there's more to him than just calming things. Hopefully he in this series( matches ahead) shows why he is the most technically superior all-round batter in the world even higher than Virat or rest of fab 4. No weakness at all for him regardless of his stats.
Edit - Fab 4 was created as an attempt to rob Virat of his greatness. A player is judged on his technique, shot-making ability, range and temperament under pressure. Hence ALL format not just tests are important. Virat Kohli is an entity lost his own perfection when in flow, others are no where close to him (Tests, ODIs ,T20s). I hope they do-not create another Fab 4 to rob Jaiswal, a potential superstar of the game.

    38:15 2 things about Bumrah
He’s like Warne in the sense that:
    1. He is extremely intelligent and in extreme control at a very high level of the skills he possesses (even the limitations of his skills)
2 like Warne, his action allows him to keep both eyes on the batsmen while being totally balanced and composed - up until the very last bit of effort needed to push the ball through
Bumrah utilizes his locked front leg, the pivot it allows his upper body and the suuuuper late release of the ball - well in front of him
Bumrah uses that time it (his u pique action) affords him , to make any super late adjustments to his decision on what to do with the ball
Other benefit obviously is that Bumrah’s pitch is 20 yards long and not 22
He’s better than Warne in the sense that Bumrah’s variations are all done at the same extreme skill level including delivering them with a fully committed and complete action
Bumrah is the greatest cricketer (not bowler) to have ever walked
Actually / Bumrah’s action reminds me of a battle tank - whose turret and gun are stablized , but the tracks at the bottom do all sorts of things
Bumrah is locked in at the start of his run up and his turret and guns are stable throughout the run up 😂

Dizzy was the ultimate villain for us as Indian fans growing up. Big scary fast bowler, later with a beard and long hair. Always used to get our bankers Dravid and Tendulkar out. Little did we know he's such a great guy.

If Australia doesn’t win this series, there’s no way they’ll win for at least the next 8 years. Once this group retires-most of whom will be forced to before the next BGT-India’s third-generation team seems more than ready. How’s that for a thought?

What are you guys talking. Your team just got hammered by almost 300 runs. When opposition scores 500 there will be a few chances, you spilled them. Got bowled for 100 in 1st inning under 250 in second. There are no positives. In a way Aussies are the polar opposite of Pakistan. They keep finding conspiracy against them in everything, you guys keep finding positives. Get real.

India had the advantage because of stronger opening partnerships - bumrah and siraj with the ball, and KL and Jaiswal with the bat. Australia still has a shot if they are able to get one of the opening batsman early. Lack of out of form or unsettled opening batting pair still is a concern for them.

That might have been Best spell you have seen but that was certainly not the best Bumrah's of spell or what he is capable of. Wait till you see his bag of tricks when things are tough on placid tracks, ask Poms what Bumrah did on Indian spin tracks. He will always get wickets, every ball he bowls is an event. Exciting, exhilarating and what not. Wait for his yorkers bringing batsmen to their knees, slower balls foxing batmen. If a fit Shami joins Bumrah, it's gonna be 5-0 or if big bear Rohit hits form, it's 5-0. This is not Bumrah's first tour to Australia, Australian batsmen had seen his enough for years - nothing gonna change as he is even better now. He didn't bowl enough in 2nd innings to get a 10fer, he knows what he is doing. Just appreciate the Genius, he is much more than his action.

Australia need to create GM structure in that Each GM has to publish his policies and how he implements it. Need yearly report of what he has achieved. Make it public and transparent most of it.
If things dont go well after 3 year replace with another one. Whole GM process has to be transparent. it will be like election. Before taking job he has to give the speech on what he gona do and how he gona do. We need some accountability in high places

One thing I was really happy to see India doing is just bury the game when they were on top. Like India have been in positions before with an upper hand or lead and they have let go of things and allowed the opposition to come back. Even in 36 all out Adelaide, it was India who had the lead and they were in front.
Here once they got the lead they just tired the bowlers out and made sure the match was going only 1 way. Ofcourse the pitch helped a little but the discipline and application shown was tremendous as they was still enough for the bowlers

Guys stop hyping kholi for his Perth knock, he didn't do anything extraordinary on the field, he just effortlessly scored hundred with the old ball. Let me tell you this victory was not possible without KL's knock. He calmed jaiswal when he was about to lose control and had impenetrable defence that worried aus a lot, and made way for subsequent batters to score runs.
