Not sure, it's a bit more nuanced than that. Magnus has been part of a complete complexity of the process number of times , and he clearly understands that it's far from like they're not trying.
The momentums, objective currents, tendencies and fluctuations - all silently contribute to the superficiality of the final result.
Clearly, Ding got involved here in something really dark 🌑 in that game, and clearly done it willingly. Eventually backing down from Kn-a4 possibility a testimonial of the magnitude of the energies he went into - juxtaposed intensely with the overarching overall structure of the match, fuelled by the readouts produced from his own (psychological) operative console. We have to remember, both navigate intense uncharted ocean floor 🪸🌊 at the moments of truth relying on their own.
      So much to it...

Everyone starts decaying at some point, but if you stay active, eat healthy and get regular sleep, the descent is so gradual you won't feel any significant impairment until well into your fifties or sixties. There's a psychlogical aspect as well: If you allow yourself to feel old and weary now, you get used to be an old fart pretty quick and get stuck in this mode of existence. I don't expect you to believe me, but it's true, and you should quit getting old right now, it's in your hands.

I believe in him, after all he had a record of not losing 100 classical games in a row that only Magnus could beat. When Magnus decided not to defend his title, only Ding and Fabi came to my mind as deserving world champions( also Aronyan but he is onlder, a little bit impossible to come back).

Make Levi and Magnus Play Out Positions without informing them which position they would get from the WCC and let them defend or crush the other 😊 Would be funny to watch them play together on a given position where Gukesh or Ding failed

First black game opening (French Opening) by Ding surprised Gukesh by its unpopularity at the highest stages. He wasn't prepared as much with those lines, as Ding was. Which is why Ding played all the passive moves, relying on his memory of lines to catch Gukesh when he doesn't make an accurate move.
This game by Ding was to send a message to Gukesh that Ding is prepared to take risks in the opening by going for same non-traditional openings again, as if asking Gukesh "Did you really study this? Sucker? Show me. "
This game by Gukesh showed Ding that he is ready for it. And everything.
Ding is turning the tides of the game by playing such non-traditional openings so that he controls the game because of his memory of the lines. Ding must be having a super sharp and long memory, to remember these lines that deeply.

I think it is clear that removing Kaja was a vast improvement.
Today Levy is relegated back to a position where he can only ever be tentative because he is always about to be either corrected or confirmed by Magnus. It is a role that serves no purpose.
Again we see today how poor this board is for illustrating the discussion. Levy literally begs for an arrow, which then appears in the wrong place, then disappears altogether. Given this is the launch of a major new app with untold money and time gone into it - I don't see how they are making such a mess of a primary feature.
Again I think Magnus needs a producer to improve his style. Contrast his mumbling down at his desk with Levy's bright, head-up diction. We get that he's God but even a God needs to be able to smile when wished Happy Birthday. It may seem small but body language communicates attitude.
Maybe give Kaja a role to come in at the end and ask the MVP questions 🤔

Ding gets criticized no matter what he does. It doesn't matter if he's outplaying Gukesh, it's never enough. Personally I think he's doing great, and conserving energy in such a long match makes sense, why fight for 4 more hours to get a draw anyway. He's playing smart, and if he does need to take risks in the future I have no doubt he will, because he did against Nepo. Go Ding! Prove them all wrong!

On Na4, Leela shows a way, which Ding might have seen. Leela's top move was Ding's preferred Nc4. So much so, even after Na4 Leela still wants to retreat to c4.
White setup would be timely b3 + Rb2 + Bc1 maneuver, against Blacks Rb6. This way you challenge the only concern of the position; c4-d3 bind.

  • @channelvms708
    @channelvms708 2 дня назад +1

If the draws continues, at some point Gukesh will face a huge pressure as he wouldn't want to play the tiebreaks, and he will need to play aggressive and fight for win. Ding is just waiting at that moment for him to strike.
