They just either love the game, can't get away from it, love the time w/ the boys, who knows... but they're riding buses and shit late in their careers. I forget what legend did it.... someone can prolly help me. I'm thinking Blue Jackets/Red Wings connection.... had a hall of fame career and ended it in the minors. I'm drawing a blank
*Thrashers and it was Chris Chelios. Dude played 24 seasons in the league and when he couldn't get signed he played in the minors that is just mind-blowing to me
I'd love to see the NHL change the salary structure to every player receiving an equal base salary for all players, with productivity being rewarded with bonuses. I think this structure would light alot of fires under players asses and make it a much more competitive league
Another note….. it’s been since what NHL 09-11 ish or sooner that they haven’t changed the fucking goalie masks!!! At least let me change the colour!!! 😑😑
