Good info Sir! Just in case anyone wants to know how they fit on a slick body...they do. I have in the rear Continental DWS Extreme in the 315/35R20 on Factory Reproduction FR77 20x11 wheels with a slick body 2019 Charger HC. They clear and don’t rub....

are those 20's? ive had to put 305's on my '17 camaro 2ss after some bolt-ons to get it to hook decently. been thinking about getting these for my 20's since i dont feel like paying 450 each for back tires again. although i do like the fact ive had runflats i mean cause if anything were to happen id have to pay for a tow home since id never be able to take my flat and get a new tire mounted since people dont have these sizes in stock, at least in youngstown ohio

The problem isn't tire width,it's the type of tire your running.Get yourself a good drag radial,in the stock size,granted it's a weekend car.You run bigger tires or rims than stock size,the car actually runs slower,and you stress out the tranny.

I didn’t have eco mode on my srt8 but my redeye does and that shit is aggressive. I can get side ways but I gotta pound the gas . In all the other modes tho… Mann.. it gets sideways at anyway speed damn near.

Go for 255/45/20 they’ll be a little cheaper than the 245
Hey Knockout 360 use this spray to protect your new tires it’s called 303 UV Protectant Spray it works wonders when you buy new tires spray your whole tires with it also spray inside the tire it will last a very long time and it will shine like new for almost 6 months just check into when you get a chance
I use 303 on my panels and dash never herd of it on tires but I'll test it out!

You want sticky tires? Get a NITTO street radial or MTs. I have NT5s on my cobra making 500whp and 550wtq and they stick in 2nd and max torque launch
Some folks think buying wider tires will solve traction issues,unless your doing some type of tune,and using wider tires to get a bit more pull.Its actually the type of tire your running.A larger tire actually slows down the vehicle,and stresses out the tranny.A street drag radial like you mentioned,in the stock size,will solve traction issues.The stock tire size is way more than sufficient for grip.

Doesn't really matter in the end once your radar detector goes off you've been pinged by his radar anyway. It literally detects the radar as it hits your vehicle. You might fool him if he can't tell which car in a big group was the one he pinged but if you're not in a group he has you and it's only going to be his decision to not go after you that will keep you from being pulled over.

Tire size does not matter its the compound of the tire.
That's not exactly true. Tire compound and surface area both make a difference in traction and grip. There is a big reason why drag radials on pro drag are huge beefy tires with soft sticky compounds. Both attributes play a part and both are needed to get those beasts down the track.
