me and my uncle was watching this at the same time and we laughed so hard when we saw the reveal of the 2nd car to pull the rope.. thanks for the good laugh hahaha. we have an impact with a heavy fat 19mm socket so we probably won’t need this, but it’ll be in the back of our minds now 😂

This probably the 9th video i watched with replacement of the timing belt n water pump, in shop & on the floor an u used less tools to get the job done especially doing the out back trail style of loosening that shaft bolt 🔩 👏🏿 definitely a confidence builder right there, super job 💪🏿keep up the great work!

Which timing belt kit did you use? Any issues with reliability?

Bro thank you for this video, but i have to ask you about timing belt not lining up on the rear cam I'm in the process of replacing my timing belt 2013 pilot touring and i found out that my New timing belt is not going on it's place in the cam buy the fire wall and I'm bit stuck with it, all my timing marks are aligned i started from the crank pulley idle and the front right cam under the water pump and over the second cam,and it's not working for me without having a slack between the water pump and the cam by fire wall and help would be greatly appreciated thanks..

All Honda 3.5L V6’s have belts. Toyota 3.5L V6 have chains.

The wear on the tensioner arm was a result of the tension-cylinder going bad. I replaced the belt on my Saturn Vue (has the same Honda 3.5 liter engine), but I found out that supplier had a batch of bad tension cylinders, so a few months after replacing it, the noise came back. Replacing it yet again with another new system quieted it down again.

Its crazy how bad just that little amount of wear can make the engine sound! Hopefully you don't have to take yours apart anymore

@@2EZEverything thanks for responding. I know it's recommended every 100k but I don't think it's ever been done to my pilot and it's at 190k.

Is there a secret to putting the serpentine belt on???? I compress the tension… the thing Goes in but still belt won’t go over harmonic balancer
