Midnight Rider is one of their BEST songs 🎵🎵!!! I remember it from the 70's and all I can say is Thank You ❤❤ for all the wonderful music and talent you gave us while you were here ... RIP 🕊️🕊️🕊️
We lost Dwayne with his great guitar leads. And then we lost Greg with that haunting organ, and that soulful voice straight from the South, like a lonely, ghostly, Freight Train. I MISS THE ALLMAN Brothers. Rest in Peace and the Blues my brothers.
the Allman Brothers performed @ my high school in Crystal Lake ILL.1973. 70miles N.W.of Chicago in the Gymnasium. A concert of a Life Time! Born Southern by Grace alone.
I know right. Just shows the kind of world we live in. Full of internet trolls and haters. I assume somebody out there will respond negatively to this comment. Have at it!
Call me a purist, but, it's refreshing to see JUST the INDIVIDUAL ORIGINAL ARTIST and not 50 "special guests" onstage. Great to hear this song performed live from BEGINNING TO END by Gregg HIMSELF.
I sure do miss Gregg Allman and the band. First show I saw them at was back in ‘74. Feels like a big part of my rock and roll soul is missing. I don’t mean to sound like a crybaby. For me they were just that good.❤
I always loved you. When I was invited to camp out in the Lake Lure area near Chimney Park, p.s. where the famous movie "The last of the Mohicans was. The entire Allman Brothers band was playing near where we were were camping. The atmosphere was electric with the film going on. I just mostly remembered being excited about the movie, but I was barely above a teenager and in love!! His name was Lindsey Garland from Black Mountain, North Carolina. I think he had a brother too. They both loved to ride motorcycles. Both were very nice guys.😊
i did see the Allman Brothers Band in Chicago 1972 or 73 we were doing mushrooms near the right end stage close to the drums i was mezzmerized so many drums .Great concert went on forever
A very sad day today, another legendary artist gone...I was praying that he would get better after being in the hospital a couple of months ago. I grew up listening to the Allman Brothers and still listen to them 40 years later, I still have the vinyl albums including "Live from Fillmore East". So many incredibly beautiful songs. RIP Gregg Allman and thank you for the memories and music. I was able to see him about 6 times with the Allman Brothers and on his solo tours. Sad day indeed...
Here it is 2020 and this song is still as beautiful as when it came out in the early 70's/RIP Gregg Allman for you will never be forgotten your music and the beauty of your soul will live on forever/The late 60's into the 70's delivered so many artist so many songs that are just as strong and true as they where back in the day when they were released/So much talent So much truth/Thank you for posting this video/ Rob Martinez USMC Ret

I'm now 61. Like many others I listened to Greg's major hits through my childhood & adulthood and didnt really start reading up on the Allman brothers until I was in my 50's. Seeing his entire career/life. From losing his father to a robber. To military school. The Allman Joys, his different marriages drug addictions. His entire life was layed out for us to see. Thankfully, he finally found love & peace as a good man should. RIP Greg.
Sometimes it's just a simple pleasures that get me to my day-to-day drudgery. Gregg Allman it's one of those niceties that I can have at the end of the day. Thank you sir God bless your soul.
