- Developed in 1992, by a PHD research scientist at Michigan State University, MotorKote is a super friction reducing lubricant. MotorKote is a revolutionary product with an extremely loyal following in the trucking, farming and racing industry and growing everyday. MotorKote fans are seeing the benefits in many agricultural, marine, smaller engine, and every day applications as well.
Project Farm proves this man to be reputable. I just bought this product. I feel confident it will do what it is advertised to do.
It won’t
@@evangrimm1702 why do you say that?
@@jonnyboat2 He's just being grimm. 😁
I put in my semi this past week within 2 minutes I felt the engine run smother. And has stayed smooth running. Will update at request so far 4000 miles this past week and smooth
My Trans am had 10w30 vr1 in it and engine Temps were running up to 219 degrees. Oil would thin out and at that temp and my oil pressure would drop way down. I went to 20w50 vr1 and it helped from thinning . I drained some and added 12 Oz of motorkote in its place. I also blew out dust and straw from between radiator and ac condenser but it wasn't that much. Now coolant temperature staying 170 to 177 and oil pressure stays good. I'll be going back to the 10w30 with motorkote to see if it changes
This along with Project Farm’s testing and I was sold!
😎💪🇺🇸🗽❤️
His test is great but after seeing how well it worked I am shocked noone has sent in an oil sample to see how the wear compares to a normal oil change.
This is honest to God real. in the '90's a store where I worked carried MotorKote and one day the salesman, possibly this gentleman, brought this machine in to demonstrate to customers how MotorKote worked. I was the mechanic in the store. While the salesman was doing his thing I told myself this was a rigged test. So while he was talking and the machine running on a bearing I grabbed the leverage arm and pulled down. I pulled down quite hard for about 15 seconds. Customers were snickering while watching me pull down on the arm. There was no change in sound pitch, the machine did not slow down and I did not see any signs of heat. The salesman turned and shouted for me to stop what I was doing. He wasn't worried that the product would quit working but that I would bend the leverage arm of the machine! I was sold. I added it to all type of lubes, grease and oil. I used it on everything that used lubricants. Engines, transmissions, hydro transmissions. Anything that spun or slid. I still use it today in my cars, street and race, lawnmowers, chainsaws, guns, door hinges, everything. It's amazing stuff.
I noticed no corrosion when replacing a seal on a 5HP B&S motor on a generator. I've used MotorKote since 1999 on that motor with over 500 hours on it with an oil change every spring with MotorKote added.
@@UncleStevie8erDid you check this under a microscope? That's what folks (oil "wizards") on the bob is the oil guy site always ask
This guy is one hell of a salesman
Great Toupee as well 👍🏼👍🏼
I dint know my car had an oil leak i took a 250 mile trip and found out later when it was knocking that's right 250 miles no oil, well good bye engine but I got home love ya motorkote
Motorkote, Amsoil Signature Series, and K&N Oil Filter is a tough to beat combination.
I agree with you except the k&n oil filter part. I haven't seen any info to prove k&n oil filters are any better than other top of the line brand filters such as Wix XP, Mobil1, Fram Titanium, Napa Platinum, Royal Purple etc etc
i have been loyal since 1983 meeting this product at the Michigan Farm exposition running it in all farm Equpment anything that take ware, trucks ,tractors ,implements and personal vehicles. and yes still paying $89.00 /gal
As far as motorkote goes, I'm still on the fence and looking into it. I work in a lab (different industry than petroleum) and will be unofficailly running some tests. I will also introduce combustion byproducts, which often has emulsified condensation to test for additional corrosive byproducts and moisture contamination to test for acid development, etc.Your EGR valve, crank case vent, and oil separator all recirculate these corrosive byproducts back into the combustion process or back to the oil pan. I'm reading about chlorinated paraphins but perhaps it's not as big a deal as it being made out to be. Hoping to make a contribution. I love project farm, and I'm thinking about seeing if he may do a follow up (long term test?) pending what I find. The physics and chemistry of the internal combustion engine is hard to replicate with just one test. The Timken bearing tester only gives you a piece of the big picture. Project Farm affimed Motorkotes claims, which was quite impressive to be honest. It got my attention.
Will be waiting for results , did you get something???
Any news yet?
To be honest I had to put the project on the back burner. I was waiting for some testing materials to put a study together.... I'm really excited to put this through some tests. It just may be a few weeks before I get to it. I will follow-up with this.
@@ryanpooler3962 ok, thanks!

Any update?
i put a whole 32 oz. of motorkote in my van ...... i would normally get 200 miles with a tank full of gas ...... i got a whopping 350 miles on 1 tank of gas driving a 1989 ford e-150 van ! .........i tell you the truth........motorkote is no lie !
Still running... but extremely hot?
To me that means friction. So what are we supposed to take away from that demo?
That being said, video from Project Farm seems very convincing.
I think what he is trying to show is that the product continues to work in extreme heat instead of burning off and failing, but don't bother asking Motorkote as you won't get an answer anyways from my experience.
What cause the smoke?
@@johnnyzhu6729 Oil burning off the hot bearings
I saw this demonstrated in a fuel stop in Indiana and I’ve been sold on it since!!
Is the best anti friction product in the world 🌎 for me!!! Ever!!!! Respect ✊️
I’m very surprised that Motorkote hasn’t been sued by Michael Kors yet. They are using the exact same logo. That’s a copyright lawsuit waiting to happen
There's alot of differences in the motorkote logo. Like the wings above the logo and the circle is very slim. Micheal kors logo is just a thick circle with MK in the middle. With now wing logo above it.
Thats how much u know about trade Mark and copyright bro .
I would advise NOT to use this in your transmission you will ruin it or Front/Rear differential
As they have clutch plates that need a certain level of friction it may cause your transmission to start slipping etc...
You just don’t use too much. I’ve used it in two dirt bikes and my car with no problems.
@@jimstenlund6017 same here. I have a 99 silverado that started to hard shift into 2nd gear and I added Lucas transmission fix and didn't help. Then drained the transmission oil and a few months later added motorkote and the hard shift went away and all gears felt very smooth. This was 3 years ago. The transmission is still running strong. I get the guys logic who posted the comment but I'm sure motorkote knows that and made a product that wouldn't mess your transmission up.
Advise is a yours. I’ll take the companies in this case
Have you used it in yours or have conducted tests? I am open to see your findings.🤔
Respectfully yours
Motorkote works! Simple as that. If you have a performance engine with Motorkote, you'll find yourself hitting the rev limiter earlier than ever! 'cause the engine spins so freely and effortlessly...it'll feel like you've ticked the factory "race engine" package 👍
I think I will buy it for my cars engines, transmissions and power steering and for my bikes. I don't run far or to hard so it will last a while.
Love this gent's presentation
Looking forward to getting mine in from Amazon soon :)
I use Motorkote in differential, tranmission, transfercase, powersteering, & ofcourse crankcase, stand by generator, log splitter, powerwasher, lawnmower, snowblower, im going to use it in my new motorcycle after i break it in, but i will use very little in motorcycle, i dont want my clutch to slip because of it, all though it says you can use it in wet clutch motorcycles.......i have a Kawasaki Concours 1400 has the Ninja engine on it, very powerful ...
Love that bike
You guys should find find a drift car team that has a stock oil system on a LS engine and see how it survives without a oil accumulator or modified pick up 🤔
This is going in all my small gas engines from here on out
If it can only be removed by sanding why do i need to keep adding a bottle to every other oil change? Once should be enough
Good stuff
It’s a great lubricant but DO NOT put this in your engine. It burns off and creates a nasty sludge. Have had to run seafoam through my engine multiple times to try to clean this stuff out. Use it on hinges and bicycle chains but not your motor
Seriously though this stuff afe a huge difference in my f150
Why have I never heard of this before..? Im going to put some in my higher mileage cars and lawnmower.
I bought this. I tried to cancel after but it shipped anyway. I haven't put it in my jag and wont. I have been trying to get an answer on the chlorine rumors. No response from MK Yet I emailed them on the 24th of dec. Clorine is not good for aluminum block or heads... . The flash point is only 60c. That sucks. Waste of $30
Aloha from greece very interesting ,i got a question, how many oil changes does the new motorkote last ,they dont make it as thick as they use too
Because of new cars with VVT-I and v-tec systems the need thin oil
I didn't know that Bill Barr worked for motorkote.
I messaged MotorKote on Facebook to ask if this product contains chlorine, not an unreasonable question in my opinion. They saw my question and ignored it. I asked them one more time and again, they saw my question and ignored it. So I take that as this product does contain chlorine because if it didn't they would be happy to tell me it doesn't. Also, on their website, they state that it contains no moly, teflon, graphite, etc, but it doesn't say that it contains no chlorine. Again- If it didn't, they would be happy to tell us that it doesn't.
Avery Alexander i use motorkote, but im pretty sure you are 100 % correct, i may stop using it, i heard that will break down yr oil after while, do you know the damage chlorine will cause ?
@@toddjacobs5660 Chlorinated paraffin (essentially what this is) is not corrosive to metal at room temperature, but when heated and mixed with water/combustion byproducts, it creates hydrochloric acid. That's one reason chlorine is not used in swimming pools anymore and even then, in very small amounts. Do with that information what you will.
@@JazzyJonas Pools still very much use chlorine. And the amounts used has not changed either. Pools that run salt systems... sodium chloride aka table salt.... NaCl. The chloride is disassociated through electrolysis making the chlorine to be "available". It's still chlorine.
@@JazzyJonas You are correct! There is a very good reason oil manufacturers no longer use chlorine as an additive in their engine oils.
Are there counterfeits to watch out for?
I havnt seen any, this stuff is good, I'm a longtime user of it.
Is this an oil additive?
Too bad Motorkote doesn't make an airconditioner additive.
I use it, the shit works.
Who stocks this in nz?
The problem is, that you are going to only mix 2 oz. per qt of oil. So the friction will obviously be higher as the engine runs right? Why didn't you do the test with the Lucas mixed with oil and the Motorkote mixed with oil? Instead of full strength w/o oil?
They are both to supplement oil. Neither is supposed to be an oil replacement.
fair test are you going to buy pure motorkote and run it in your engine
So you do think that when mixing that scam product "Lucas" with oil it's going to create a miracle, if only alone it's equal to nothing? On Project Farm you can clearly see that Motorkote even beats the already proven Bestline, in terms of how good it is even when mixed with oil in small amounts. Think again!
Motorkote reacts badly with aluminum parts in a engine. it creates a port blocking black sludge.
No wonder this Son of a gun is expensive,,, they got me hahahahahah
I just bought some from Auto Zone and I put it in my 5.7 Hemi Magnum Durango 2004. I run my baby hard so I hope this works😉😉
How is it? If you still have that 2004 Durango...
No way in hell that little bit of metal ways 300 pounds.
Way too much chlorine in this stuff.
I've yet to see anyone prove that it has chlorine or similar... You'd think someone would have an official analysis by now.
Wrong little fella.
I thought chlorine burns off in heat?
Finaltouchone1 this does burn off actually, or most of it.
I am using motorkote in my 88 deere 1050. Abit over half of the recommended amount for a "heavy duty turbo diesel" with absolutely incredible results. Its an inline 3 diesel so it makes much more racket than say a modern 4 cylinder but Motorkote had quieted the engine right down much more than i ever wouldve thought possible.
Hiwever according to amsoil theyre claiming motorkote uses chlorine for whatever reason, now are they slandering your product to boost theirs or is motorkote really going to loosen up all the older sludge built up inside engine crankcases from years of conventional use?????
I believe this to be an extremely important question for you to answer
Why is Attorney General Bill Barr doing demos for motorkote 😅
Dude whaaat? He looks the same you are right 😂😂😂
@@vc2368 🤣
Those discs are not 30 lbs..
There are two levers on the way.
no one pound like he says, the mechanical advantage is 30:1 like he says
Marketing ploy BS: It's not an additive. You can keep it like all the magic oil additives in a bottle. I'll stick with Amsoil. It's never failed me and all my vehicles run on it, along with my small engines .
amsoil guys never seize to amaze me. they are NEVER open to other opinions.
@@lukeWiz44 And don't assume we're all the same. I don't go around claiming Amsoil is the best; it is my preferred choice of oil. Even back when I was running Pennzoil, I still wouldn't put this nonsense in my engine. The people who fall for the B.S. haven't taken the time to understand just how motor oil really works. A healthy engine running on top-tier synthetic oil doesn't need help. I've seen so many magic bottle products with some flim-flam making all sorts of claims that their product is the best of the best. For example, there are a couple of RUclips videos of someone showing how much better their product is over MotorKote (MOTORKOTE VS TURBO MAXX BRASS FRICTION TEST).
Run the right motor oil, use a quality oil filter, and change the oil on time. Done deal. A magic trick or some random internet person isn't going to tell me otherwise. I've done the research and seen the data. These products for a healthy engine are B.S.
@@4x4gear33 i didn’t ask for all that man. I get amsoil is your oil and i respect that. I run ultra platinum and i’m happy with the price i pay for it. but this motorkote- it increased my fuel mileage by .8 mpg. i was really impressed by it.
@@4x4gear33 Just an FYI. Did you know Amsoil was sold and the ad pack has changed in its formulation. Not as robust as it once was.
@@FadetoBlack1463 Can you provide an article that says this?
I use turbomax and its way better then motor crap
I considered trying turbomax but I cant justify the price. Maybe If i got a free trial to see but I'm not forking out 55$ to try a product.
Is it proven? Ask Project Farm on RUclips. He will see which is really better. He tested motorkote, and it fucking works.
Motokote sucks
