I'm seeing lots of new g19 gen3s at my local gun shop. Most seem to have the Austrian stamp. I have a 26, but I sometimes get my pinky pinched between the flush mag and the magwell. I was reading on a forum how others have experienced that with the 26. I called this morning and they still had 8 g19 gen 3s in stock. I may go get one. It's payday Friday.
@@Spidermonkey2a ya I hate that grip on the 26. It conceals good but I just don't shoot it well. I bought a 43 and like that pistol so much. It's got a slightly longer and much slimmer grip; low capacity though. I even bought a 2nd one
My gen 3 19 was bought used and it slings brass to the right pretty consistently. maybe I got lucky or whoever had it before me may have put in a gen 4 ejector. The trigger feels great too. Little take-up and a crisp break. Definitely feels properly broken in
Don’t forget, the Gen 4 has the way better side grip texture on the sides of the grip. You don’t need grip enhancers. Also, the Gen 4 has the dual recoil spring.
Yea but you throw a magwell on the bottom the gen3 glock 19 and it's a game changer in terms of grip. The grip on the gen 3 threw me off as well(too slick on the sides) and ended up going through different types of talon grips for the pistol which I wasn't super thrilled about the firearm after they were installed. Added a bit too much thickness and got in the way of the finger grooves. But tossing a magwell on there and under cutting the trigger guard a bit absoloutely did wonders for the feel and grip of my gen 3. It's the standard I set in terms of feel and I'll probably keep my gen 3 forever because of that.
The generation 3 use a 336 ejector which is famous for brass to the face but you can swap a generation 4 ejector & fix that problem if it bothers you. I prefer the generation 3 but my FFL says all they can get is gen 5 9mm .
@@seancssu it won't if it's in the gen 5 trigger housing, gotta pull the ejector out of the housing and put it in the gen 3 type housing. Edit: read that wrong, yes the 26 and 19 17 ejectors on gen 5s are the same fit but they still use the old 30274 ejector on the 19/17 gen 5 models and not the newest 47021 ejector that comes on g26 and 19x gen 5s.. just look for the newest 47021 ejector, I dunno why glock still uses the 30274 on the new 19 and 17 still, I'm guessing it has to do with existing contracts (who don't need it due to using hot duty ammo)
As much as I liked the Sig p320 It still came in second to my Glock 19 Gen 3 Haven't found a 9mm yet to replace it.
This gen 3 is all we can buy in California.
As a CommiFornian it's true. Waiting for a Glock 19c gen 3.
I just bought one yesterday G19 gen 3. This is now my 3rd Glock.

Can't go wrong with the 19. I used to have a 26 as well but it just didn't fit right in my hand.

I had a 43 when it first came out. Definitely a great setup.
I’ve carried one for years. Love this pistol
I can't believe it took me so long to get one. Great handgun
Any gripes with the Gen 3?
@@jaytay7989 I have a gen 4 but not a lot of difference. The sights aren’t great but work fine.

I've had my Glock19 gen 3 since 09 & so far no gripes.

Good video. Thanks for braving the cold weather for the Glock 19 video. Take care.
Much appreciated
Got a G19 gen3 USA made love it 😍
Glock is only good for defending your life that’s it ,
And that’s Al that matters to me
I have the same ejection issues, I think it's the ejector I'm the Gen 3's in general. I got a used 19 for my CCW, and it's not had any issues.
Yup this and the Springfield XD 9 subcompact will most likely be my 2 handguns I’ll have in the future in CA.
Just got one I agree with having the figure grip there instead of flatness 😭🦅😉

Well, gen 4 is discontinued. Gen 3 still in production. Gen 3 for me

Awesome. Thanks for the information.
My G19 Gen4 ejects brass to face. I sold the pistol.
If you keep having poor ejection, get your hands on a Gen.5 G26 ejector and put that in. Improved 3 of my guns greatly.
Will definitely keep that in mind! Thanks much
Does a gen 5 19 extractor not fit?

I'm not putting MIM parts in my gen 3. Noooooooooo
must be a german thing, my Walthers do the same thing, throwing shell cases on my head
Glock is not german.
Snot checks!
just bought one, havent shot it though
Awesome. Enjoy
Did u shoot it yet gotta go pick mine up from the shop tm
Is a gun that just "works" worth the price if you need it to defend your life? It is to me.
Yessir
What kinda question is that? Worth it ? Uhh ya wtf man
Bro, on this vids pic you look like dude from da Professional!
Coincidence I guess lol
Stiffen your wrists, rounds should eject out and over better. Slide might be rubbing your gloves too.
I didn't feel it but ill keep that in mind. Much appreciated
It’s really not that big
