Had this gun for 2 weeks, 250 rounds with zero misfires, this is a great learning video, make sure you test a specific ammo especially for defense rounds.

I am thinking about buying one. I've watched a lot of videos about them and they've been positive. So I was REALLY glad when it looked like it was an ammo problem...not a reliability problem with the gun.

In my experience over time the feed lips break off. It's all polymer and no steel. Glock mags are far superior. But more expensive.

Heck they fragged that squash and made a garage door in that jug so it seems ok.

The fact that he says the 7mag is .280 in the first ten seconds made me discredit everything they had to say from there on out.

When they made these. They used a 87 grain bullet to get the 3000 feet. Using a 100 grain. It was around 2800 feet. Savage only put a 1 in 12 or 13 twist in the barrel. To stabilize a 100 grain bullet. The twist rate should be 1 in 10, or; if using monolitic bullets; a 1 in 9 twist. Winchester came out with the 100 grain Silvertip. The shape and tip on the bullet helped to make these shoot a little better than a standard lead core bullet. It's too bad they stopped making them. With the 100 grain bullets from Hornady, you can keep an older Savage in about a 3" group.

I shot a 200 grain 300 winmag bullet one time and it kicked me like a ten hand horse man lmfao my dad didnt let me gradually go up calibres he said ok you e shot the .22 now heres the .300 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 i took a few steps backwards and learned how to lean into the shot that day 🤣

My favorite slugs were Winchester xp3 but they no longer make them. Dang. So I eventually found the hornady sst's. Super accurate at 35 yards through a custom ER Shaw riffled barrel. Most shot here are 60 yards or less. I'm wondering if these ssts will be accurate out of smooth bore using a carlson rifled choke tube. I just ordered one for my other shotgun so will soon find out

Hello from south central WI! I just picked up one of these beauties at the RCRPC show this weekend. I got a great deal on it because the guy said it had feeding problems. Sure enough it does, even after a full disassembly and cleaning. Did you ever solve the last round hangup? Mine seems to be doing the same thing. Thanks!

Actually I do believe the 4:58 Socom was designed for the original stopping of the engine blocks in Alexander Arms I do believe came out with their version after that which is slightly improved a little better😊

Got a black one in July '24 with stars and stripes laser etched. Love it. So far have had no problems with gun, only with ammo. Winchester and Remington had FTF, or FTE every 2 to 3 rounds! Switched to CCI and Aguila.. both of these have performed much better. Occasional dud round, but that's the ammo. Did use Otis Dry Lube in the mags as recommended in another YT video. Seems good. I clean it after every 2 range trips and seems ok! Very happy with my TX22.

The OEM high sights are a boon to those of us who were putting optics on them. Middle aged, with a contacts focus point that is different than ideal for iron sights, optics are required. In an adrenaline dump I'm positive I'd never be able to use iron sights these days.

Magpul makes a solid product. I have their mags for my AR, AK, Sig P320, 308 bolt action and their 17 and 21 rd mags in my Glock 47 (and in my Henry Homesteader which has a Glock mag well). All have been totally reliable and more affordable than the factory option, especially with the Sig mags which are notoriously expensive.

Springs and certain parts need to be slightly worn in (polished) and why they call it a break in period. Some have no issues while others do, this varies on how tight the firearm tolerance are. A hand fitted custom pistol like some 1911's will generally need around 500 rounds or so through it, while the Glock pistols that I owe hadn't had any issues. Same with a new car, it needs to be driven at a certain speed for a certain amount of time.

AAC black is all I use out of my 300 blackout and 6.5 CM. Both calibers are plenty accurate for the price and I'm driving distance to 2 PSA stores. Those are Hornady SSTs bullets made for AAC. They should be fine for medium game. I hope to find out this year. They also make pointed soft points for some of their loadings. I used those 140 grain out of my 6.5 last year on 2 deer both fell where they stood. The blacks are more accurate for me though. Just found you today, thanks.

Center your target on a background that shows all impacts clearly Paper is cheap. Maybe a new target for each ammo tested? Put a target camera up to show real time results Still... this channel has potential....

I bought a case of 500 rds as soon as they released it. So cheap and it's shooting under an inch in my light weight WWSD esk 6.5 grendel with faxon pencil barrel.

Just picked up my gen 3 19 today. My others are all gen 5 except for one. G45, 43x, 20 and a gen 4 30

Little known fact, Armscor is an old Indian word that loosely translates to garbage ammo.

Had my 300blk 8,5 inch bear creek upper for 3years and over 3,000 rounds without any kind of failures at least 5 diff ammo types. No subs. Lower is a psa. Love it dearly

Could it be that the BCA is affecting accuracy, it is a cheap gun leading me to believe heat treating and raw materials aren't great ?

For the price, I picked up half dozen boxes just last week. I mean, you still see Wolf steel going for more than what these do. I'm ready to give them a test! Now if they start cranking out 224V and 6ARC I'll really be pumped lol thanks for the video!

I have a Silver with 3 1/2" chambers, and love it! But if you think that 3" is kicking you, try some 3 1/2" high brass Turkey loads.............😁

Something ain’t right my 16” ar shoots better than that

I’ve tried to get used to the finger grooves but just can’t. I take a dremel and remove them. A set of Talon grips goes on and I’m ready to go. Great video sir.

Now just add in some small circle jiu Jitsu along with some Krav maga hand techniques a hammer fist and uppercut your ready. A 10 to 12 inch hardwood stick with a hole and boot lace aka Juhl Bong works wonders.
