Thank you for the question and support. From what I have found it is more based on tide then time of day for me. Early morning can find the fish closer to the surface yes but generally you can find them throughout the day they just move around quite a bit
Great video! (Thanks for putting the OG2 to work!)
does the medium light have enough power for kings?
I have landed kings to 20lbs so far on mine. You can always step up to the 9’6 model for a little more power on kings
HOLY MOLY SPEARMINT SPOON! :)
Am I right in guessing the fishery slows down as the day progresses? I knocked them dead the two days I went at 6 am, nothing when I went later

Thanks so much.
Your Holiness. Can you catch these Residents from the beach???
Absolutely you can, if you can find a beach with access to deep water look for tide rips and there should be fish and bait!
Holy moly . I'm the first. -Jay C
I think us anglers with kayaks have an advantage here. Is salmon open? Or does it open on July 1st?
In certain areas of the sound yes salmon is open. Check the regulations to confirm your area
Marine area 11 is closed till July 😞
what depth are you generally catching coho at?
Typically 30-60 first thing in the morning then deeper as the sun rises
