- Welcome to our first episode of Tech tip Tuesday. Today we are covering ocean coho fishing rigs. Puget Sound and ocean coho fishing is starting to heat up. One of the very productive rigs for these tasty fish is a flasher and squid combo. As I walked through this rigging in our test tank Thursday video last week, today we look at how to add flash to your rig. This is a super effective way to get more bites. Try this on your next outing and watch your success go up.

my grandpa adds small spin and glos above the squid. he claims his catches went up after doing that. I'm going to combine your ace hi fly / squid combo with the small spin and glo + a herring strip. should be a real ham sandwich!

YoOoo..................u can put big glass rattle into the squid........combo with blades........it gonna spin and vibrate and make alot of noise !

I just found your channel I know late to the party. Thank you for the information I will try and find the skirts and inserts to build the hoochies. I would like to buy some already set up so I know that they are made correctly. Any suggestions where to buy the pre made rigs
Thank you for watching and the question. Most sporting good stores will have a generic premade rig. However typically those hooks are not great quality. Depending on what you are looking for I could do some custom riggings
Aal about the **bling**
I want to try these inserts w ace hi flies for kings in saltwater with Both an action disk (wiggle fin) and an 11 inch 360 flasher. Any color combinations or rigging strategies you might recommend? Im thinking 36 to 40 " of 40 lb fluoro - a little long but that s for the sake of the disk.
u should try kajiki’s in blue or green with p-line’s teaser skirts 😉😉😉
