@@daakudaddy5453 how? If you watch the video. It's been said that they also distribute their products to restaurants. Restaurants survive on online food service. Hence, there's a chance that Acme still does well, although with some setbacks.
Back in the 60's I worked at a New York style delicatessen for the four years I was in high school. Our lox came in a metal tray from a place in Nova Scotia hence its name NOVA Lox. It became one of my all time favorite foods. The only problem is is that once you've had the best there is, then everything else pales in comparison. So now I make my own, still not as good but closer than any of this "salmon paste" that's found in today's markets.

No, Acme defition is the peak or pinacle . It is used in much of culture and folkore and business. Chuck jones the warner brothers animator who created many looney tunes said they used acme for everything and actually got the idea from the LA phone

My mom and I make a girls day out of it and will drive an hour to get to this place and after our haul, we’ll drive to Queens to eat lunch. ❤️ We’ll get some for our family but also friends, cousins, etc bc everyone wants it! It’s a tradition now! Their smoked salmon is absolutely amazing, I highly recommend anyone to try all of what they have to offer! My favorite would definitely be the pastrami smoked salmon but if you’re lucky, they’ll have special ones for that day only. 🥰

Brian Gleason it’s amazing wild salmon has a full rich flavor and they put up one hell of a fight. Kings and reds are nice and oily so a light brine works for them. Been fishing since the first summer of 98 when I moved here.
These aren't silvers. These are trout. Nova Salmon isn't a thing
Spencer Elwell that would be salmon buddy watch the video. Smoked locs is made with salmon. They say it with in the first min of the video and those are silvers by any indication.
@@dreadwing01 let me assure you these are not silvers, I've been seining in SE and fishing in Bristol Bay for 14 years. Atlantic salmon do not have the same life cycle as the five species of wild Alaskan salmon we both know. Scientifically they are a specie of trout. These are farmed fish with dyed flesh, their meat is naturally grey. You are watching a video of New York foodies salivating over low quality seafood

The one reason why I didn't know about this from the grocery store is because I dont go to Whole Foods, I'm too broke for that.
That's what I miss about New York. I was born there and lived in Flatbush Brooklyn and Williamsburg. Then I moved to Staten Island and later to Puerto Rico. Now I'm living in the Pacific Rim.
