Just so everybody realizes: Some of the stuff that Dani talks about in this podcast are some of his most fundamental "bread n' butter" principles that you usually learn from buying his downloads, DVDs, books, etc. And it's all for free on RUclips. Amazing stuff.
As I listen to this interview. The conversation was in-depth and transparent. Dani shared his deepest thoughts, philosophical insights about not just magic. The kiwi sweet knowledge of: “Who, “What,” “Why,” “When and “Where’s” that teaches the royal road of each person finding themselves and alpha their own unique ability for expression of their unique: “Way of the interception perception.” Dani DeOrtiz is like a party popper. He explodes with decades of experience and knowledge that has something for everyone traveling along this path of art form and no doubt segues into other arts and a way of life!
That impromptu invisible deck at the end with a borrowed sealed deck absolutely shocked me. It happened so fast I felt like there was no time for any special moves. I really liked this episode, I could listen to Dani talk forever. He's so passionate about magic, the psychology, and it's history. It really shows.
The way he manipulates the flow of conversation to make it seem like the card isn't picked until the new deck is opened is absolute genius. Dani is such an incredible performer.
@@sfdntk That's what I thought! But I can't trace it back! What a master of his craft, and truly addicted to the feeling of wonder, such a generous guy!
I was not watching a magic master talking about magics; I was watching a master who deeply understands HOW humans' brains, emotions, and senses are working. This is seriously the best interview and Podcast I've seen in years. Thank you to both of you for making this video and sharing this amazing knowledge.
I am a retired psychotherapist who used a lot of indirect hypnosis, told stories with imbedded stuff that would cause the person to start revising their own memories and ideas about the problems they brought to therapy, and asked strange questions that required the person to revise their memories. I came across Dani's magic a few months ago and my mind was blown. He had, as he explains here, developed psychological devises that influenced people's memories of what happened--he influenced their experiences--not simply what they saw and didn't see.
Best video I've seen! I've done sleights for 4 years on and off and Dani is an absolute legend, I've even created move inspired from several of my top magicians and having the goal to fool magicians above layman is such an incredible work ethic. Hope he does more and you also get Richard Turner on here or also his partner Rick Seedman, both are legends I adore

Okay, aside some of Jeremy Griffiths content on his channel, this is BY FAR the best magic content Ive stumbled upon on whole RUclips. And I do look a lot of magic content, so Im fairly sure this stands also as a "period" claim, I doubt I just didnt stumbled upon something better yet. When allready mentioned Danny Garcia, I will allways be thankfull to him for his TnR card and his coin matrix. Two tricks I really really mastered and have in my pocket allways, and performed them million times. Tbh, along tap-a-lack those are probably most used and abused tricks in my case
*EDIT: not a magician, this is wizardry...!* The trick at the end is truly amazing. And even though I understood all he explained in advance, there is no way this trick could even remotely be true. "And this is true, this deck is not complete". He never lies! Just incredible final trick showcasing everything discussed during the podcast.
So cool! The trick fooled, even though he almost precisely explains how it's working in the preceeding 89 minutes 🙂🙂🙂

Where can I get Danny De Ortiz's books
Who was the author of the “statutes” book Dani mentioned around 1:17:00? Ascanio? Ty
Manifiesto was signed in 1971 by Juan Anton, Arturo de Ascanio, Marre , puchol, Juan Tamariz, Varela and Camilo Vázquez.

Are you a fan of Dani’s book freedom of expression?
1:30:06 - he cuts the cards, so the deck is no longer in the new deck order.
This may be true but when did he flip the selected card face up?
so wrong
