Glad I saw this. I was considering using Amazon for my T Shirt designs, but I don't like the plastic shiny look of them. Think it would cause alot of customersreturns.
So does the print section feel like on of those "vinyl plastic type" iron on things? Or does it feel more like part of the shirt and soft...? I don't want to sweat where the print part is because it's like those old iron prints that eventually flake off... Thanks
So Amazon uses DTG printing. Basically on any white or light coloured fabrics, the ink will feel soft and part of the fabric. On black and other dark coloured fabric, the ink will have a rubbery texture to it and will sit on top of the fabric. Neither should peel or flake off - however they sometimes do. In my experience the prints on light fabric hold up better over time.
I like the quality of the shirts and they are comfy to wear. But the print quality got worse with every order. The first I had a few years ago lasted more then half a year - at least 10 washing cycles. But now the print starts to come of after 2 or 3 washing cycles. And the prints don't fade they just come of in parts. It looks like you shirt has "dead pixels". So the shirts are unwearable after 3 washes. Not ordering anything from Merch on demand again. What a waste...
My experience too (Europe). I have 4 year old shirts that look better than ones i bought only half a year ago. They have definitely messed up the print quality and i will not buy more.
Excellent overview. Exactly what I was looking for
Thank you! Glad I could help!
Been looking for a video like this for weeks, thank you!

Thank you for this video! I really appreciated it :)
I've gotten clothes from merch on demand before and I hate the quality. I expected more from them.
Thanks a lot for this one !
My pleasure!
Thanx for detailed review.
thanks for sharing ur findings! Since I really prioritize on quality of the print and fabric I guess I will not go with Amazon print on demand

What about the fit ?
I don't like how "standard" shirts fit, so it would be pointless me reviewing them!
@@EcommerceTom so it s standard fit ... ok, bad

When's the next video
I haven't had time to film any videos yet. But I have made time next week, so all going well there should be a new video next week!
@@EcommerceTom who's the lucky print provider or pod companies you choose for the next broadcast 🤔
@@instantplayerclassicjh2580 Dimona Tee is next, then Stacked SCM. Still waiting for my Customcat order to arrive, seems to be taking ages!
No screen printed. Looks crappy quality print that will fade after a few washes.
