Enjoyed this vid! Next time you go through you should post a print through their door, that'd make my day if it was my daily view! Subscribed and inspired, thank you
Hi Gary I love your fine art images and thanks for sharing your process with us! I’m not very good with photoshop and would love it if you could share your editing workflow for removing the hills etc
Hi Gary..my name is Greg and I live in Birmingham, Alabama USA. I’m so glad I have found your channel. You do amazing work. Thanks so much for sharing and making these videos. Take care!!!
Beautiful images. Lovely style of photography thank you. The social media details were slightly lost, being white on a bright sky... Thank you for sharing. Really enjoyed the video. Thanks again.
A couple of times I've wanted to enter somebody's garden to get the shot I wanted...so I knocked at the door and asked...then before they can say. 'No...now bugger off'. I've offered them a free 6 x 8 ( colour print ) which I would be able to print at work...since I managed the lab....or an 8 x 10 black and white that I could print up at home...usually worked :-)
Stunning Images Gary, I have just purchased a VND 2-32 Filter & also CPL so i am keen to start learning how to use them. The images in this video are as i said stunning, It would be great to see what post editing you did & how
Beautiful shots, I love minimalistic stuff. Also love watching you set up the camera, I have the 5D mk4 and the 7D mk2, and I find it so much more relatable. I'd like the 5DRS one day. But I probably dont need it lol.
Geat images Gary and thanks for showing process and camers settings, these very helpful ps. starting on having a go at some panoramas and just watched one from you a couple of years ago, again you showed the process in simple to understand terms. I need to get a tripod leveling head first as mine hasnt got one built in. (you must have some patience from reading some comments on the pano video re nodal points and parallax errors, even after you explained the reasoning and methods several times). Thanks again for inspiring.
Gary, as usual, nice video. I’m trying to emulate your style but not sure how do you remove the background and blend the water into the sky. I know that I’ve seen one editing tutorial on your channel but I seem to fail to find it. I appreciate if you can help..
Love your fine art images Gary, I need to give this a go as and when I can find a suitable subject. Orkney in August so will hopefully find something there 🤞
Loved both images Gary, would love to watch how you edited these, one question if I may, did you just crop out the background? Thanks for another great video.
Short and sweet and you still knock it out of the park Gary. Question, are you just driving along and stopping at interesting locations or you having people tell you about locations? Thank you and keep up the great work
Hi Gary, I'm really struggling to find anything on RUclips or anywhere to see how you blend a sky and water to get rid of horizon line wondered if you can point me the right direction
Hi Gary, Kev from Cheshire, trying to understand your RUclips tutorials on fine art, having trouble setting my 5d Mark IV, I've tried various lenses and filters, but still looks blown out, what am I doing wrong, thanks. When is your next visit in the area, thanks
If you had taken down the address of the house, you could have sent them a small print of the photo you had taken from the garden, I'm sure they would have been very great full and appreciate that nice gesture, just a thought.
I honestly believe the right thing to do would have been to ask for permission to access the property. You justified trespassing in your own mind. Really not something to advocate in a video.
Awesome photos Gary in beautiful Fort William. 👍👌😊
Gary, very impressiv fine art images. I like this kind of images very much.
Cheers Michael 👍👍
Lovely image of the posts in the sea Loch.
Thanks for your enthusiasm in for photography in your videos. It is inspiring.
Cheers Darren 👍👍
Classic Gary gough photography 👍👍👍
Great work, Gary. You paid your dues by putting their house on RUclips. 👍👍
Thank you 👍
Love the fine art approach to these simple images.
Many thanks! Cheers Paul 👍👍
You are an inspiration as I am slowly moving away from my snapshot mentality!
2nd one for me Gary, loved it.
Cheers Bill 👍👍
Lovely watch and great photos 😃
All your images are wonderful. Thanks for taking us along on your photography adventures.

Good idea but I think the houses are holiday lets.

Great vlog Gary - beautiful end results too!
That's incredible sir. Thank you for this video.
Just offer the house owner a print of the image, will work wonders. You can charm the birds out of the tree I'm sure.
Beautiful, I love your work. Thank you so much for sharing it and helping an amateur photographer.

Very nice work Gary, lovely bit of processing there for both images
Simplicity is what makes this makes look beautiful and Fine. I'm not a bad person :)
Love it you make it look so easy !
Have you thought about shooting in medium format? I just bought a digital Hasselblad to shoot medium-format long exposures.
I’m not sure what the benefits are. My file sizes on my 50mp sensor are already way bigger than I need.
Stunning and so relaxing, thank you 🙏
Another great video Gary.
What a great spot.
You captured some really nice minimalistic image's.
Absolutely gorgeous fine art images 😍
Amazing videos brother 👍🏾👍🏾 subbed
Ridiculously good ! Just incredible. Very talented GG ! X
Cheers Richie xx
@@GaryGough Very welcome x
Excellent as always. Your shots have inspired me to try similar shots. I look forward to Skye in October and to the return of the £19 camera.

Cheers Steve 👍👍
Gary I drove past that second location a few times last year and wanted to stop but could not see how I could get too it !!

Loved both images Gary, would love to watch how you edited these, one question if I may, did you just crop out the background?
Thanks for another great video.
Did you get any response?
I'll make a video for the channel Ross 👍👍
@@GaryGough many thanks Gary 👍
If I saw you in my garden I would be shouting Mr gough do you take milk and sugar with your coffee or tea !!!🤣🤣
And a choky bicky.
I need your address so I can camp in your garden 😁😁
Short and sweet and you still knock it out of the park Gary. Question, are you just driving along and stopping at interesting locations or you having people tell you about locations? Thank you and keep up the great work
Lovely images. I can’t help but wonder if the first image lends itself more towards portrait as opposed to landscape? Did you try that composition?
I do think my wife would hardly be able to handle your sense of humor; which makes me like ya all the more 😂
My wife doesn't like my sense of humour either, she's just stuck with me 😁😁
Brilliant video
How did you remove the mountains and the sky please? 😃
All the info here… garygough.co.uk/members-only
How did you lose the horizon?
Brill 👍🏻

Sometimes….tis better to ask forgiveness…rather than ask permission.

The house appeared to have two cars outside, so worth just having a knock on the door & asking permission first!
👌🙂
👍👍
Lovely images Gary. Just wondering for an image like that whether having the polariser on makes a big difference?
Hi Nick, I kept the shine on the water because that was the look I was going for. A dark surface on the water just wouldn't have worked. Cheers👍👍
Taken both shots years ago --- the second location when it was not a garden LOL
lol Cheers Duncan 👍👍
I believe some of your plane pictures should be in this category.
If you had taken down the address of the house, you could have sent them a small print of the photo you had taken from the garden, I'm sure they would have been very great full and appreciate that nice gesture, just a thought.
Garry everything is ok,but y can just for once show us your post production ,
I honestly believe the right thing to do would have been to ask for permission to access the property. You justified trespassing in your own mind. Really not something to advocate in a video.
There’s no trespassing law in Scotland 👍
@@GaryGough ok good to know!! Thanks 😊. There sure is in the USA!
Sorry, but your Thumbnail is about as cliché as it gets. So much so that I didn't bother to see what you consider "fine".
