Thanks! They are pretty awesome. I’m thinking of buying those little butter balls next time and just poppin’ one inside each burger instead of freezin’ & shreddin’.
@@SmokinNDrinkin Yes and they are good. I put it in meatloaf to. Take a pack of it and mix it with 16oz of sour cream and let it sit overnight and it makes a good potato chip dip.
Sorry but if you get the mix right with the beef mince (25% fat) then why add butter!!! Yes to adding butter to finish a steak as fat content low. Really like the idea of adding the beef marrow
Only in America would you add extra fat (the butter) to ground beef. Why not get higher fat content (suggest 25%) for burgers & at least keep the beef flavour & moist
My channel is definitely not approved by my doctor. Actually though, adding butter to beef can be traced back to the traditional cuisines of Europe, especially countries like France and Germany (my heritage.) Butter has been used by my family for generations to enhance the flavors in beef and many other dishes. Thanks for your comments! Prost!
Thanks for your reply. Yes I definitely agree with your comments but in my experience butter is added to the prime cuts as little fat content & give a rich finish to the dish. I use butter in my cooking for Tharp reason
I have always added butter to my steaks during grilling to give it that buttery flavor, "and what is a hamburger but chopped steak?" (remember that commercial?) Yes I add the butter for the buttery flavor more than anything.

Depends on your approach - if it’s leftover trimming… why not take this approach?
Also, I would think these doing it for the buttery flavor.
Come to think of it - I would replace butter with bone marrow - love that mixture
