    So this is not only our first time cooking this way but also cooking a pulled pork joint. After 4hrs we have a beautiful tender juicy load of pork that is delicious. Thank you again from the UK

    I just used my Ninja 7-1 smoker for the second time. I wish I had seen your video first. My beef roast was very dry as I smoked it the entire 4 hours, plus I didn’t wrap it in foil. . I made it edible by using BBQ sauce. So I have a pulled pork on today. I scoured the internet for a video that was simple and easy. I settled on your video. I have followed your instructions to a tee so far. Except I am doing a Mexican flavor. It still has another hour on the baked setting. I will definitely let it rest for an hour in the foil when I pull it off. I think I will have a pull apart tender pork. Finger’s crossed!

  • @brianj3150
    @brianj3150 Год назад

    I just got one of these off of Mac Bids for $2.00 they said it was damaged but it wasn't the reset just needed reset and it works like a dream. If you want to smoke anything a little longer once your pellets burn out add some more hold the ignition butting down for 3seconds and it will relight the pellets.
    So I made ribs following your recipe I just turn down the heat to 220 and smoked them for 45 minutes longer basically a second burning of the pellet basket then wrapped and turned the temp up. They had more of a smoky taste but still not over powering.

    I found pellets form BBQ Toro (applet wood) which are not as hard pressed as regular ones, the result is that they burn a lot slower, they don't give you the heavy duty white smoke at the beginning either only a light smoldering starting slowly until 30 mins. in. They lasted over 2 for one fill.

    I've smoke pork butts on charcoal, gas and stick burners but this is hands down the best butt I ever made, and it was following this video using my Ninja Woodfire Grill. One thing I did was once the butt hit the 205ish range, I tossed it in a cooler and placed a beach towel over it and close the lid for at least an hour. The butt comes out extremely tender, fall apart, and juicy.

    I like the way you explain things, I do follow other BBQ Smoke channels, but you are the one that gave the confidence to try to do smoke stuff, and all because of the time you spend explaining how its done, thanks so much, now I can enjoy this delicious food at home, with family without spending huge amounts of money on restaurants :D thanks gain you are the best! :D

    I have noticed that you typically bake (once wrapped) at more than 300F. Just wondering if you have tried baking at lower? Typically on a pellet grill I would be reluctant to go above 250. Just curious if there is a difference with this Ninja? Thanks for all videos..they have been really helpful.

    Hi CJ I’m happy that you explain everything so throughly. Thank you. OMG That pork shoulder looks delish. Being from the Pacific Northwest I’d love to see you do some smoked salmon. Keep up the great tutorials. Stay as cool as you always are. Thanks

    Bachans is where it’s at. I bought my first bottle from them when they first started up as a company. Had to order it direct from them online. 😂 I’m so glad they’re growing and able to be sold in retail stores now. I use it for so many things!

    I don't have one of these yet but plan to buy one soon. However, I can tell you know your stuff! When you said, "manual does not get you where you wanna be and trust me I have the experience" I knew then you are the man. In the short tine I been learning to cook my experience has taught me that instruction manuals and manufacturers recipe books give you very basic skills but don't show you those pro tips that take the food to the next level. Also, there is nothing wrong with a lot talk when the talk is full info that's needed. You are not on your videos talking what you did at the mall one day but you talk about the topic of video. Keep serving up these videos!

    Man, I'm so glad I watched this video! I ruined a perfectly good pork butt by using the book!! I probably won't do a Hawaiian style like you did, but I'm definitely going to use your method for cooking it. I should've known better being that I'm from central Texas--it's embarrassing! Anyway...THANK YOU!! You literally saved my butt. LOL!
