- My old Taurus PT-100AFS is a beautiful gun that I haven't shown any love in a long time. I decided to revisit this one, one more time before moving from it. I hope she doesn't disappoint me.

Your guns show a level of care I have not seen anywhere else. I can only commend you and admire you handiwork!
Thank you Sir.
That is a nice looking firearm, sir.
I own a black PT 100 that came with rosewood grips and agree with you that is a very reliable pistol. The first 50 or 60 rounds I had a little trouble but then it just started working like a champ after that. Then a policeman friend of mine want to try it out so I let him borrow it for a month or two and when he brought it back he had polished the feed ramp and made a "few other fine adjustments". I removed (and saved) the wood grips and add pachmayr grips for comfort. I've never had any problems with it for well over 25 years now. If I remember correctly, Taurus warrants these models for life, too.
Yes, I think they do too. Thank you. I've had this one for 15-ish years now, and ready to let her go.
Nice piece, glad to hear you again.
Thank you Sir.
Very fine and stylish gun. Good looking. Impressive reset. Nice setup on the safety/Decocker plus the cocked and locked option. Springfield Armory has that set up on the discontinued XD-E. Thanks, sir.
Thank you DB. I like all of those features. I just wish the front sight configurations was as nice as the rest of the gun.
@@mr2275cur Agree Big Swoll58. For me I know that those sights especially the front sight becomes more critical for my older eyes. Really like this journey you are taking us on with really looking at what (and why) you might want to keep certain guns and let the others go. Thanks, again.
I like it Big Swoll. I'd have a hard time letting it go. Thanks for showing us.
Thank you Mr. Smith. As do I...
Two things that keep me in a good frame of mine, when it comes to Guns or Guitars.....I DO NOT SELL. Your collection is beautiful and would be hard to replace.
I always ask myself....can I replace it with a same model that I can find in 45 minutes....the answer is NEVER yes.
I use all my stuff, some are used more than others but anything in my collection has a place
You make great points Sir. I use all of mine as well. Some more than others obviously. But, there comes a time in everyone's life when you should re-evaluate everything. That time is nigh for me. Time to downsize and simplify. I don't plan to replace anything. Just enjoy and move on. I'm probably even going to buy and sell some new guns along the way too, but I'm still decreasing my collection size.
That's a nice gun man! You'll regret it if you get rid of it, especially if you had it for a long time. The wood looks GREAT on it!
Thank you Mr. T. I'm sure I'll miss it, but there won't be any regrets. The time has come to downsize. But I plan to send thousand of range downrange in the process of doing so. Lots of fun lies ahead my friend.
I like a black front sight, or a front sight with a gold bead. I always keep a can of sight black in my range kit.
I think a painting the blade black, and the dot yellow will definitely improve he sight picture. But its hard to effectively paint SS.
@@mr2275cur Sight black itself is just temporary and cleans off when you clean the gun.
Im sure its gone but if u still have it for sale id like to purchase your firearm . I had to sell mine years ago for christmas presents for the kids . Ive been looking for another ever since , if u have the black grips still id like those also . Been looking for a ruger p85 as well if u know anyone . Ty for your consideration sir .
Thank you Mr. LaFont, but I sold it about 2 weeks ago on Gunbroker.com. Be patient, you'll find another one soon enough. What you did for kids is really loving and unselfish, and will be rewarded. Trust that!
@@mr2275cur I appreciate that you responded to my inquiry . I was just a little too late . Beautiful firearm and u kept it pristine . Hope u have a great year and God bless u .
Thank you and you too Sur.@@JamesLafont-o2k
