Great Video! I've travelled to Singapore 3 times now with my wife and kids. The biggest issue with travel as a family to Singapore is for families of four (or more). A great video if you wish to take up the challenge is reasonably priced accomodation for families. The prices recommended on this video I take it are for couples. I've found the family options are very limited in Singapore.

Just found your channel while browsing youtube at 5AM. I guess my body refuses to let go of the Singapore timezone from my last visit a few days ago. This time I stayed at Bugis, could see the Suntec City Fountain, Raffles Hotel, Victoria Concert Hall and even the Istana from my hotel room and the Bugis Station was just an elevator ride away. Skyscraper architecture is fascinating! Though next time I want to stay longer and in a place somewhere in Chinatown, Geylang or Ang Mo Kio. Nonid for formal tourist attractions, for me the nice weather, delicious food, the Kopi, the clean and green and well designed everywhere, the friendly people and the wonderful unofficial official language of the Singaporeans with its fascinating grammar and rojak of vocabulary are the real reasons to visit again :-)

SG does not have very strict biosecurity laws, your cherry is definitely fine in Singapore in carry on / check in. OUT of SG also should be fine in either carry on / check in. However im not familiar with Vietnam's laws. Checked baggage does not have cooling room.
@ so when i fly from Sydney to Singapore I will stay overnight in Singapore if i put the box of cherry in the checked baggage when i arrive in Singapore do there have at Changi Airport have a cool area to keep the bx cherry fresh
@ so it should be fine if i put the box of cherry in my carry on baggage and when i leave Singapore i go through the security check before boarding gate it will be no issue right?
@@anthonynguyen8447 no, there isnt any place with temperature control to store your things in the airport. you'll need to find an accommodation with a fridge. yeah food items like cherry can go through Singapore customs in your carry on
@@dashingheights Does it have something to do with the currency change or could I use a revolut bank account with Singapore dollars without having to pay that fee?
Major attractions in SG are wheelchair friendly so getting one could be a great help to explore the city. Otherwise I recommend planning your itinerary around the same area each day to minimise the need to move around. For example, sightseeing around Marina Bay / GBTB can be a day activity. GBTB is very thoughtful with many seating area along the route
You can take the GREEN train line, from Changi Airport, take the train to Tanah Merah (2stops), then get across the platform towards Tuas direction, get to Tiong Bahru. From Tiong Bahru you can walk or get a bus to get closer to Telok Blangah Crescent
yes there is a pass but 1 day pass is not worth the price, UNLESS you're planning to get around 6+ destinations in 1 day. Plan your itinerary around the same area because the city is super walkable. Save you abit of $$ and you get the most intimate experience exploring
I am travelling alone and kind of worried that I might get lost or not having enough things to do and bored in SG. I am starting to feel travelling overehelming and stressful instead of excitement and pleasure. Perhaps its because I am travelling alone😢😢😢
SG might be the easiest country to solo travel in! I have many video guides that might be helpful to you. I recommend listing down the attractions that excites you, look at the best locations to stay, learn how to get around the city. After some simple research you’ll find out that SG is a very easy and forgiving destination ^^

Hi love your video i want to ask i will fly to Singapore from Sydney next month and i will stay overnight in Singapore then next day fly from Singapore to ho chi minh city can i bring in box of cherry in carry on luggage or put the cherry on checked baggage if checked baggage will have cool room at the airport for checked baggage
@@anthonynguyen8447 no, there isnt any place with temperature control to store your things in the airport. you'll need to find an accommodation with a fridge. yeah food items like cherry can go through Singapore customs in your carry on
@ ok that what i need to know to be sure then i can bring it thank you🙏
I am coming on January 14th. I am staying in Little India. Is that a good location to stay?
it's not bad, i mentioned the advantages at 12:57
Hi, do you also have to pay the daily 60ct fee with the ezlink card?
I use my card that's issued by a local bank so i dont have to pay the daily fee.
The fee only applies to card issued by foreign bank
@@dashingheights thank you
@@dashingheights Does it have something to do with the currency change or could I use a revolut bank account with Singapore dollars without having to pay that fee?
What is the best option for travelling with kids under 12? Is it free
Only kid 7 and below travel free,
If you have spare credit/debit cards that would be best. Else EZ link card
Any advIse, for people with difficulty walking/knee issues, to navigate around SG?
Major attractions in SG are wheelchair friendly so getting one could be a great help to explore the city. Otherwise I recommend planning your itinerary around the same area each day to minimise the need to move around. For example, sightseeing around Marina Bay / GBTB can be a day activity. GBTB is very thoughtful with many seating area along the route
how to go teluk blangah cresent from changi airport with public transport
You can take the GREEN train line, from Changi Airport, take the train to Tanah Merah (2stops), then get across the platform towards Tuas direction, get to Tiong Bahru.
From Tiong Bahru you can walk or get a bus to get closer to Telok Blangah Crescent
@@dashingheights Thank you so much for the information! Your explanation is really helpful.
@@gamestyle846 welcome :)
i think it is the same as austrian or germany system
Reported the video for money laundering.
(JK lol love the content!)
hahahahahah all my money's clean now ;)
Which camera do you use?
Im using sony a7IV with 20mm f1.8
Do we have a pass for Local/Metro Train for a Day?
yes there is a pass but 1 day pass is not worth the price, UNLESS you're planning to get around 6+ destinations in 1 day.
Plan your itinerary around the same area because the city is super walkable. Save you abit of $$ and you get the most intimate experience exploring
❤❤❤
oh so we can use the cc instead of buying an ezlink?
yes, as long as it bears the contactless payment && mastercard/visa logo
@ can i pay for 2 pax using 1 cc? Or do we need to have a separate cc?
@@Gubraithian you'll need 1 card per person
M coming on 5th dec 24
Whee welcome to Singapore! Have a fruitful visit ^^
I am going to be there from 7th to 16th. Would you like to catch up? And show me a few of your favourite niche places?
Welcome!! My family is visiting SG and I'll be hanging out with them. Wishing you a fruitful visit :)
