I cannot find the video but I watched you say 1 card per person I think. What about children who dont have card? Can I simply double/triple tap for me and my 2 kids? 😅

Thanks for the local knowledge! I was in Singapore a few weeks ago, and it’s such a stunning city-I can’t wait to visit again soon. But seriously, is the heat part of the tourist package? I spent half the trip feeling like a dim sum in a steamer basket and the other half wondering if I’d accidentally signed up for a sauna tour.
We recently came back from a first time visit to Singapore. We had 6 days before we got on a cruise. We did many of the things you suggested. We love to travel for 3 week at a time and you need to avoid the expensive tourist traps to make the travel budget last. We loves your museums (National Museum, Art Gallery and Asian Civilization). We also explored the free areas around the Marina Bay Resort and enjoyed the evening night show. Also we botanical gardens were great, except we ended up getting rained-out. It was the wet season... so that was a risk. Each afternoon we'd head towards a Hawker center and spent a few hours exploring and eventually have great food at a super reasonable price. We used public transport or walked. The public transport works great. There is no need for a hop-on hop-off bus at 3x the cost per day. Hotels are not cheap, but the city has amazing affordable public transport and amazing cheap eats. Splurge here or there for something special, but avoid most of the expensive traps and you can have an affordable vacation there. We loved it. I don't know when I'll be able to come back, but I'd love to visit again.

I have taken the duck tour and Singapore flyer. They were memorable and fun for me actually 😄. When you mentioned $40 for duck tour.. I realized yeah... pretty costly... especially if you are going as family.
I feel quite a lot of simplifications here. Technically I'm able to visit Universal Studios in any place in the world, but living in Europe Singapore might be most on the way to do that. I could actually use similar argument while traveling to Osaka or Orlando. I try to collect information about the history, culture, view, challenges, ongoing conflicts and try to assemble all the bricks while visiting museums. However, in the end of the day travels have to give me fun and I hope I'll have it visiting National Museum, Asian Civilisations Museum, as well as Universal Studios for the first time in my life. See you Singapore in three weeks!
$30 per adult minimum, definitely fine to order more than $30. In my case... I ordered 1 cocktail that amounted to $27 in final bill but the cashier was ok w it hahah.

damn was thinking of doing the hop on hop off bus tour as it seems to take us too all the main areas worth a visit.. but now your saying its not worth the money.. I guess we could use their map system but use public transport instead :)
The Marina Bay area is a very walkable area... IF u are decked out in exercise outfit... Tourists would melt in our heat and drown in their own sweat from all that walking...
You can do that at this beach club bar that offers a few rental options, it's called OLA BEACH CLUB: g.co/kgs/rFsMpz2 They even have a quite unique "jet blading" experience hahah. if you're into high speed water sports it might interest you :)

damn was thinking of doing the hop on hop off bus tour as it seems to take us too all the main areas worth a visit.. but now your saying its not worth the money.. I guess we could use their map system but use public transport instead :)

The biggest tourist scam in Singapore is the zoo . You pay 3 tickets just to see all the animals zoo , river safari and night safari .
Hahahah sometimes have same animal
The Marina Bay area is a very walkable area... IF u are decked out in exercise outfit... Tourists would melt in our heat and drown in their own sweat from all that walking...
Hahah yah our temperature is a harsh warm welcome
I want to stand up paddle at Sentosa island.
You can do that at this beach club bar that offers a few rental options, it's called OLA BEACH CLUB: g.co/kgs/rFsMpz2
They even have a quite unique "jet blading" experience hahah. if you're into high speed water sports it might interest you :)
