Hello sir ! I have a question. Does computing the mean (central tendency) uses [ scale like 1,2,3,4 ] [Range such as 1.75, 2.74] and [Verbal interpretation like strongly agree, disagree] To sum up does mean uses scale/value, range and verbal interpretation. Is that correct sir? Hoping for your response. Thank you sir and have a nice day !
If your instrument is a likert-scale i.e. each statement measures a single variable e.g. measuring self-efficacy, then the sum total is meaningful. In this case, you may use the mean. You can use parametric statistics if you want, provided that you meet the assumptions of the test to be used. on the other hand, If your instrument is a likert-TYPE Scale i.e. each statement measures different variables, then you cannot use the mean. The sum total of the responses on this scale is MEANINGLESS because it is an ordinal one. You should present the frequencies of each item. and then if you want to do hypothesis testing, use chi-square test, mann whitney, kruskal wallis, etc.
Hi, this should by called as Mean of Average only. If you are weighing an average, you should multiply a value by its weight. I know this is for education purposes, but we should call the calculation as it is, which is Averaging only.
Thank you, sir. This helps me a lot in getting weighted mean to our respondent results. I am now able to work on our chapter 4.
Thank you so much, sir! This helps me a lot

How about po sa pagkuha ng low, high and moderate interpretation po using strongly agree, agree, neutral, disagree and strongly Disagree ?
What if po 100 ang respondents namin 100 din po ba?
Good Morning po sir ,pwede po magtanong anong sampling po ang ginamit nito Dito sa excel?
Is the logo stands for st Paul University?
yes, St. Paul University Philippines in Tuguegarao City
@@rbspace5 I knew it. I'm from SPU-QC
Yes
Paano po rank?
hello sir, mayroon po ba kayong video how to tabulate the responses of 30 respondents for 8 teachers for 30 questions?
watch this video

just get the scores, then use ANOVA
may watch this for ANOVA ruclips.net/video/Q1p-Im2fxo8/видео.html

Does this mean this isn't a weighted mean?
@@zy3375 yeahp. Weighted mean is when you multiply a value by a given weight then dividing it to the total population
I agree. This tutorial is for the “mean” only. Getting the “weighted mean” is different.
