Out of all of my RUclips friends that have designed a Knife, yours is my favorite!!! I look forward to getting my own. You covered all bases with it. God bless. John

That knife and sheath is as close to perfection as any I have seen. The size of the knife gives me confidence that it will hold up under hard use, and with quality steel it will stay sharp a long time. The 1/2" fero rod loop should be mandatory on all sheath's (LOL). Good going Will!

Was saving up to get a high end blade. This is everything I could possibly want. You hit it out of the park brother. Just perfect. First thing I do is send it to CP kydex, his sheaths are top notch.

I bought the knife to help support the channel and love this knife it is razor sharp right out of the box. I got it with the kydex sheath the first day I had it I had to test it out so processed some fire wood for my wood burning stove that I have in my yard. I wound up doing more wood then I thought the knife is built to last and be passed on. I am a leather sheath guy but talking to will he said try the kydex for this knife and I am glad I listened to him. Will thanks for the great advice and best of luck this knife is a real winner.

I second that. I've been waiting for LT Wright to offer a "Survival Knife" instead of their normal "Bushcraft" blades ( which are all awesome btw) just not for me. This knife is gonna sell like crazy and for good reason. 1) Brillant but simple design. 2)Awesome looking handle thats not gonna fatigue your hand or give hot spots. 3) I really like the look of the dangler sheath that comes with it. I really hope that you are getting some kick backs from the sales of this blade Will cause you deserve it. Nice job!

Nice. Looks like a well done design. I especially like that it has no jimping. Just good clean lines throughout that marry well to the nicely done handle design. Definitely one I'd consider in the "custom" knife realm.

I've been trying to get a SOSPES knife for a few years now!
I guess LT is no longer making these most awesome Tarzan-type knives anymore, which is a real knife industry shame, in my opinion!
People that are hopeful of purchasing a SOSPES need to let LT know it, and maybe he'll bring this beauty back into production for his fans.
Just looking at a SOSPES knife makes me feel like knife fighting an alligator! ( I REALLY NEED A SOSPES!)

Awesome knife, and awesome design Will. If only I could afford one right now lol. I only have one suggestion that would make it completely perfect in my opinion: thumb scallops on the handle scales.
I just prefer them when possible because they lock my thumb in place when doing reverse grips, chest levers, striking a ferro rod, and scraping bark/wood shavings. Like I said, just my opinion and my preference. Still a great looking knife!

This is the only knife that I have seen that I would spend the near $200.00 asking price to own.
One, it looks like a great design with the higher Scandi grind, and a great handle, two, it is a practical knife, unlike the impractical and over priced Dark Timber Grizzly recently (shamelessly) showcased on PM101, and three, it is designed by William Myers.
I trust Will, he knows what he is doing, he is not trying to become a sales and marketing guru, and does not put on airs, unlike some of the Un-Reality show, UN-Celebrity knife designers, and the Blade Show UN-Celebrity knife designers, whose names get thrown around in the same sentence as God, and the New England Patriots!
    Good one Will!

Will what's the length of both the blade an knife ?I've got the Jessmuk and feel the need to match it with a chopper not so much Jx but more mountain man type 7-10 inch blade my Jessmuk for finest and Leg Trade knife for planning, chopping, shelter building. maybe I'm crazy but to say one knife does it all .ha I don't know I carry 3 on me when I'm able to the woods necker, scout Jessmuk, dangled Condor Matt Graham CS. I like the condor but the cs chips and that drives me crazy to worry about.

Hey, sweet video. I have a question for you Will, there is a knife on Amazon called the CDS Survival trapper delux. It looks really nice and is only about 100 dollars. You and Chris did a video on another knife by CDS and you guys said you liked it except for the very aggressive gimping and the large gap between the handle and the blade. I can't find a review on it ANYWHERE! I was wondering if you could check it out?
