Yes but if you have machining experience and tools you can convert it into a suppressor. It’s not easy for someone who doesn’t know what they’re doing.

Have you ever tried to destroy one of your cleaning tools before? Like, the bore sight I wrecked the other day just for shits and giggles. It would be interesting to find out how much powder it would take to wreck one of these Baffled Cleaning Kits. A video on that would be cool. Saw a video a few days ago of a guy trying to melt a barrel with a super fast "semi-auto" trigger (FRT-15 haha). Those damn barrels are rugged! lol
My brother that has an open ring for the end, that's really really bad legally because there isn't even a viable argument that it's not a suppressor. Stay safe, get rid of that thing. I hate that this is the world we live in, where they can dictate what we do.

@jst1man I just posted a comment about this. All these people running their mouths about me and what I'm doing. They need to pay attention to themselves. I would have never seen these things if not for a RUclips video. And yes, there are a BUNCH of places to purchase them online now. According to the ATF, as long as it is not drilled all the way through, it is fine. Unfortunately my end cap was and my wife who is now passed, said it might be best to destroy it, so I did.

It wouldn't survive 7.62×39. it's aluminum. Commercial pistol cans are aluminum.....but for a rifle, best case it would rapidly erode your baffles to nothing. Worst case, it would warp the threads on the first few shots, and then it would become a grenade launcher with an inert grenade.
On one hand ATF says suppressors are not ARMS, then they tax them illegally as ARMS…WHICH IS IT..? Now the SCOTUS says Chevron Difference is dead on arrival. So ATF got scolded for violating the Constitution and exceeding their authority unConstitutionally, now what.? The ATF continues to write cute little letters like they are still able to break the law and violate citizens RIGHTS, even though doing so is a federal felony.
Question; where are the Constitutional laws from Congress authorizing the ATF to continue to play Gestapo.? Government agencies are now not able to act as they please so says the SCOTUS. NOW ATF must have Constitutional laws of Congress. Remember the old saying, Laws must be Constitutional or that law is null and void. I believe that applies to the NFA, GCA, Hughes as unConstitutional laws that were passed by Congress and created unConstitutionally. NO LAW IS LAW THAT VIOLATES THE CONSTITUTION…
THE 2nd Amendment blocks the NFA, GCA, HUGHES from being Constitutional. Why you ask, because the 2nd Amendment clearly states THE RIGHT OF THE PEOPLE TO KEEP AND BEAR ARMS SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED. To fight against the Constitution is TREASON. INFRINGED=Regulate, Hinder, Suppress.
The 1934 Congress was full of Nazi infiltrators, not caring for the Constitution they bastardized the NFA which does violate (Regulate) the RIGHT OF THE PEOPLE, thereby violating the BILL OF RIGHTS 2nd Amendment Law. A RIGHT can not be regulated or it ceases to be a RIGHT. THAT CAN’t happen as the Constitution can not be altered without a vote by the nations citizens, which didn’t take place. So the NFA is not Constitutional and therefore not Law. Same applies to the GCA and Hughes. ATF has been illegally committing crimes against citizens and the Constitution…TREASON.

I bought a muzzle nut from a compant in Germany that didn't have a Form 6. ATF contacted me last year wanting it. They WILL catch up with you.
I definitely wouldnt order one fron China just incase. Customs holds/loses/c9nfiscates shit all the time that isn't even a grey area

I would not encourage you to purchase one. Now I will say that this is technically a legal option in Texas and a few other states. I would try to remain low profile on objects that may raise some eyebrows. Just my 2 cents.i haven't been contacted by anyone and hopefully am not. But this item has been destroyed back when my wife was alive. That being said. Yes, they are still available on Aliexpress and other sites throughout the internet. I think you can purchase them in Texas. Again I am not a lawyer, and like CRS Firearms says, "if you take legal advice from me you are stealing ". Lol, I hope i answered your question as good as possible.

@@murphyzlaw13smart. Whether true or not, smart to say. These in particular were NEVER even in the grey area. The ones you had to drill out the caps and baffles at least were grey area for awhile..the ones with holes all the way through were always a no go..it's crazy though that two years later, not only are the still everywhere online, but they have come out with a million much better versions that are knockoffs of legit cans. For example, there is an EXACT aurora 2 on wish as well as a few dead air copies.

I may eventually get another one, depending on what happens with the court case in Texas. As far as I know, you are aloud to own them in Texas, without registering it. I am not sure if that's true. I heard as long as it doesn't leave Texas you can own them. But I do know that there is a court case going on right now about the legality of them.
