- Patches are very popular, and you can mass-produce them easily with just your HAPPY embroidery machine using this technique! In this first video, we take advantage of the HAPPY machine's large sewing field to produce many patches at once on a single piece of twill, which in the next video will be professionally edged with the same machine! (Note: This process is even faster if the pieces are precision-cut ahead of time with a fabric/vinyl cutter like a Silhouette Cameo or other cutter.)
Sir, I truly believe God works in mysterious ways. I'm a retired Marine, my wife a former Marine and our Son was born on a Marine base. He's 19 and works in construction but has a passion for collecting patches in his off-time. He told me today he'd like to try and become an entrepreneur making and selling custom patches rather than joining the Marines or working 60 hours a week in construction. I 100% his goal but know nothing about Embroidery except what people do on a sewing machine. When I saw you mass produce USMC patches on a computer the light came on for me. As such, I'm curious on this technology and how I might leverage it so that my Son can give it a try. Thanks and Semper Fi, Ken

Very interesting. I want one of these.
Hi! I'm totally convinced about this product, however do this machine make woven patches or those called micro embroidery patches ? For designs with tiny features, details or lettering? thanks
I need this machine badly and I know I can’t afford it 🤦🏻♀️😩
Hi! How long did it take for you to make these patches from start to finish? Did you cut out some of the length of the process for the video?
Stephen yes, I cut out the sewing time just to show the highlights. I think each patch in total was maybe 14,000 stitches, so the 6 patches took about an hour and a half total to embroider - though 90% of that time was hands-off time just letting the machine do the work.

Is this machine available in India ?
What do you do at the end with the backing? Do you tear it off?
Who set up the files to do multiple patches on the large frame. I am looking for someone to do that.
I’m trying a barudan embroidery machine but i don’t know how to make the file work for a mass production lime this the computer doesn’t read the file, am I doing something wrong?
Do you know how to mass produce cloth/ punk/ sew patches? All I can find is embroidered patch info.
full speed ahead, 900rpm!!
hehe
Nothing wrong with that at all! HAPPY embroidery machines like running at top speed!
Is there no bobbin? This looks like the area is floating 🤔
Yes there is bobbin, the bobbin thread is underneath like normal embroidery.
how much a machine like this costs?? can it also do shirts , shoes and hats?
5-7k for one like this
I tried doing this with solvy light. but it started to disappear on the final pass. is ultra solvy a thicker material i need to order?
thanks again. awesome video.
jason bilous yes, ultra solvy is much heavier.
What is model and specification of this mechine? Is it available in Pakistan?
Hello, you can find a list of importers here: www.happyjpn.com/en/products/embroidery/distributors.html
What kind of fabric recommended to make the patches?
Karlos sorry for missing your comment, the fabric used was a backed twill product called Twilly from Gunold.
How did you get it to do several at once?
I just set it up in the digitizing file to do it that way. The machine follows the instructions that are built into the design by the digitizer.
What backing do you use?
The clear backing that we used to mount the pre-cut patches is a heavy water-soluble tearaway backing called Ultra Solvy. Another similar product of a different brand is Badgemaster.
