Hah no problem! Thank you!! Hope it helps. If you have any questions when you get around to it feel free to shoot me a message and I'll do my best to help you out! Thanks again!
Great video. Thanks for explaining how to use the Sash Frame. Consider saving some time by tweeting your design so that your placement stitch is another color. Then, you can have them all stitch out without having to pause the machine.
Some of the bigger pieces of that fabric can go into a cutter machine like Cricut to cut the patch outlines out of it and you could then lay them into the stitched layout areas and make more patches. (Hope that made sense).
Absolutely. Thank you! I have links in the description for everything if you use the links in my description it really helps me out! If greatly appreciate it! Also, if you have any questions please let me know!! Stahls website is great either way.
One thing I never saw on this video if you can please show how do you set up those several copies of the patch in one single set so the software interface of the bai can give you that end product with no difference in size?
Ya someone mentioned that in the other video.. I think it's possible and a good idea, I'm just trying to figure out how to get the exact same size rectangle to silhouette studio, or any other ways to accomplish it..
Depending on your digitizing software, you can easily export the design to put it into cutting machine software at the same sizes. I have EmBrilliance and it lets you do that. Try that out… maybe that would help.
I order all my stuff typically from Stahls. They have everything you need. And yes, I apply the adhesive 1 patch at a time.. so time-consuming but I haven't figured out any better way..
I apologize for being a complete newbie...but what would stop you from putting all layers together in hoop to start, and just stitching the patch out...rather than having to cut the first layer out and placing them onto the second layer?
I truly have no idea, I have yet to try patches, it was just something that hit me while watching. Maybe it has to do with being able to keep the edges cleaned up. I'm really not sure myself. Your videos are some of the better ones I've seen and I look forward to trying some patches on my machine soon! Thank you for your reply.
Thanks, man. If u have any questions let me know anytime. Otherwise I'll let you know how your theory works out when I get a chance. I think if you do it at once you wouldn't be able to have 2 seperate layers of stabilizer, right? Which is needed.
Very well done and explained. Thanks so much. I'll definitely be using this video for patch help!! Thanks man!!

That's a dang good looking patch @bratneycompanies!! 😁😁
I'm sure he appreciates the free shoutout.. bahh.
I saw this Small Business owner live working out the kinks. It is a great instructional video that will save you a lot of time. 🥰
Thanks so much biohackerma!! ))

Hey good call. Thanks for the idea!
Thank you! Going to get on Stahl's website and order everything I need now!

Ya so that's one thing you can't do on the machine itself. You have to digitize it that way.
Couldn't you cut the patches out with silhouette cameo instead of by hand?

You mention Cover Sheets and Thermal adhesive. Exactly what products do you use? Can you provide links?
On man, this was so long ago. Can you remind me more about what I said or what time frame it was at so I can go back and see?
@@threadchemistry 23:14 and onward
@@threadchemistry also, do you apply the adhesive one patch at a time like in the vid?

That is most certainly a good question. I guess I just learned it that way.. You think if we just hooked both layers and run 1 cut it would work?

Love ur biz name
Thank you so much.. ))
hi what is on the backside of your hoop the black stuff?
That is just a felt like fabric. I assume since this hoop glides on the table top, it's there to make that smooth
How are you getting the pattern to repeat? Through e software? Or is there a way I can do it on the machine?
Unfortunately on the machine you can only do a few copies. It has to be done in the digitizing software.
