Hi Gayle. I appreciate all the work you put into these videos and enjoy them so much. I made a trip from California and visited Gayle at Bernina of Naperville. She has a beautiful store and it was a real highlight for me to meet her. Thank you for helping me continue to learn more about my equipment. ❤
I lived in Chicago most of my life and even lived in Naperville for a bit. We moved to SoCal 5 years ago. When I visit family in Chicago I plan to visit the store as well. My sister lives in Aurora and I have family all over Chicago. I agree - great content Gayle!
Thank you. I learned some great new ideas and feel more confident to use my cutwork tool and embroider more! You do so SO much to help people. Thank you!
Your videos are the best! Someday I plan on making the almost 4 hour drive to visit your shop. :) For now, I’ll just have to continue enjoying your RUclips videos. Thanks so much for all the wonderful content you provide. ❤
when I export the cut files the two circles come over but mine have extra straight lines. one going from the large circle to the small and two going criss crossing the small. I guess I could keep going and see what happens!
This is the stabilizing stitch. You remove this in object properties before you send to the machine. So skip it when you cut, or actually stitch them with thread.
Oh, when I clicked open after the step below, it brought the cutting file into a hoop but only one of the files, not both and the the right I only see one see four of the little cut steps, not the eight you had.
Great instruction. As a new machine embroiderer, you simplified this technique for me.

You can’t apply cut to two objects. You have to do them individually please watch the other tutorials in the link I gave you
Whenever I click the three right angles and then enter, it digitizes a triangle and not a circle. Would I have some kind of settings wrong?
@@chrism1190 right click, do not left click. Right makes a round node, left click makes a point.
I found this super confusing.
Ok. In what way?
Maybe because I don’t have a 790. I have a 590. I’m so sorry….it just seemed like you jumped around so much when you were making the Bernina patch.
@@dianekranz9450 the 590 works exactly the same way as the 790. Perhaps you need an actual class and more instruction on your machine.
@@BERNINAofNaperville, perhaps.
