Thanks for the great tip. The cricut joy pen didn't do well with my label paper. It took over 24 hours to dry... I guess because the paper is from the dollar store. Sharpies dry almost instantly so I wanted to try them. I have the tiny hair ties AND the loom bands so I'm off to give it a try.😊
What material did you draw onto, vinyl? Card stock? Also did you change the setting to a different machine in DS to enable Print and cut or just trick the machine to think it was all cut?
I used card stock. And i changed the settings. I go into layers and i edit each layer to make sure the ones i want to cut are set on cut and the ones i want to be drawn are set as draw. Its time consuming but the results are worth it. I like to use it for sentiments for cards kr scrapbooking.
I use a adapter in my cricut joy and it works just find. I can even use the regular cricut pens with the adapter. That way I don't have to buy the cricut joy pens, I use my original cricut pens.
@@artsynessa1713 I purchase it from Amazon it was $5.95 we crafter have to stick together. It compatible with the cricut pens for the joy. (Desmond Adapter), let me if it works
Thank you for the idea of using the Sharpies. Will definitely try them.
Huge help! Thank you
You can also use the pen that came with your machine to put a mark on your sharpie that tells you how far to put it in :)
