been using bronners for more than a year now, never going back! using it for shower and washing hands. Use it on myself and even my babies ( i dont bother with any baby version, just use the lavander one that i use but less amount )
We use the bar soap either peppermint or tea tree on horses legs. It keeps the legs really clean and kills anything they might pick up in their stalls or on the racetrack.
I love Dr. B already but had no idea I could use it for all of these additional personal and household tips. My favorite is the peppermint. I think I have 4 bottles, at least lol.
I have been using the ppermint as liquid hand soap for years. Visitors always remark on how nice smelling my soap is and went to know what kind it is, I'm always surprised at how many people are still not aware of Dr. Bronner amazing products. I once bought a Dr. Bronners lip balm, ginger something but I lost the lip balm and can't remember where I bought it, it was the best lip balm I ever used. Will have to look it up online.
I never knew what it was, but I just read a book on shampoo alternatives that offers it as a solution. Can’t wait to buy a bottle now that I know I can use it to ditch sooooo many other toxin filled products!! 😁
Traditionally, Castile soap was produced using only olive oil as solid bars of soap (the bars take 6 months to cure before they can be used). Now coconut and hemp oil is added to keep production costs in check and in the case of coconut oil, to increase lather (olive oil soaps do not lather much). Soaps made from coconut oil do well at cleaning, which is why it can be used in the laundry, but can also strip oils from skin if your skin is on the dryer side.
Lots of great ideas. I haven't used Dr. Bonner in years. With all these tips, it's time to buy again! I've been wanting to get back to my intentional, natural products.
I've brushed my teeth with it. Its not as yummy as toothpaste but its not as horrible as any soap you ever tasted when you said bad words! Hahah it will also really depend on which formula. Peppermint is nice. Tea tree is good for dental hygiene. I would avoid rose or lavender as toothpaste. Hahah. I actually make my own toothpaste. I use about equal parts of coconut oil and baking soda, optionally you can add peppermint essential oil for flavor. I store mine in an old jelly jar. If its not coming together adjust until its about the consistency of warm cookie dough. And you can really get crazy with your flavors. Some pantry ingredients to try in your toothpaste...vanilla, cinnamon, ginger, basil...any and all. It will still be salty from the baking soda but flavor agents do help.
I've always use dr. Bronner's Castile soap. Just recently I started using it to brush my teeth. It works great! Better than the tartar control toothpaste. My teeth feel very clean throughout the day and bad breath is under control.
This is a great video I had no idea you could use Dr Bonners for so much. Dr Bonners does have a toothpaste and I have used the cinnamon one and really liked it. The taste is strong but it works. I actually ended up mixing it with a baking soda toothpaste and my teeth did get whiter. Love your video and looking forward to watching more.
the first thing i did was to brush my teeth with it. just one drop does fair amount of foam. my teeth feel smooth and clean afterwards. This soap is awesome.
While traveling I was up to get ready for my day and realized I forgot my toothpaste and decided to try a drop of Castile soap which I always travel with. It definitely worked. I had the unscented version and one drop was more than enough however it tasted HORRIBLE and should be very diluted. I had to use it for 3 days and found it is very strong with the sensitive inner mouth tissue like cheeks and lips. I would use it in a pinch if I had nothing else but I think the liquid may be too concentrated for regular use.
Wow! Great video. I’ve heard about this soap from some of my friends, but forgot about it until now! Thanks for making this video. I’m going to go buy some now.
Wow that was awesome. Thanks so much for the ideas. As Ive never used the soap I was searching for an DIY facial wash and they were using the unscented baby soap and I wanted to see what was in the soap and glad I did as I'll be purchasing it and using it now. I also was looking for a shampoo and there it was from you. Again, thanks so much for the information.
Mostly not bad, but one suggestion stuck out as horrendous: machine dishwashing. Either you don't use enough soap to do anything (and would be better off running the dishwasher with plain water), or you DO add enough to do one thing: lather up the machine and its contents! Dishwashing machines are simply not built to work with soap or anything that can produce a significant amount of suds.
I like the soap but I find that after washing with it, my skin feels like it has a film on it, as if the soap didn't rinse properly. I know this isn't the case because I've used it to wash glasses but I'm not crazy about the feel.
Thank you for your sharing your tips on how to use Castile soap. I love it. I just bought from today Dec. 6, 2019. Good tips on how to use Castile soap.
Hi Amber! Thank you so much. It's called a makeup brush egg glove. - haha kind of silly - but here's a link to mine amzn.to/31JYNkW (referral link)- It's gets the job done so well. Plus it's under $3 and it's a prime item. I love it!
Most people will find it useless for bubble bath. A bathtubful of their water has enough "hardness" to turn all the soap into curds and then scum, instead of suds. You can WASH WITH liquid soap just as you can with bar soap in the bathtub, but when you rinse it off you can expect the bath water to turn it into scum and a ring if you don't clean it off. If bar soap doesn't leave your bath water bubbly, don't expect liquid soap to. You CAN make it into a bubble bath if you use ENOUGH soap for your water hardness (or use soft water), but that can be a LOT. And even if you succeed, what you wind up with is very soapy bath water -- like dish or laundry water, with the same grease-cutting effect. Commercial bubble baths make suds on top of the water with an amount that's too little to be much of a grease cutter in the water. So if you use actual soap (such as liquid castile) to make a bubble bath, better rinse under the shower afterward. Also, if you use it to wash dishes by hand by the method shown in the video, mixing it with a sinkful of water, if you wind up with no suds, then unless you mixed it so quietly as to avoid getting air bubbles in the water, it means you don't have enough soap in there to clean anything.
Thanks! I have been using it for a couple years and absolutely love it however, I didnt know about the unscented version so thats great to know! With allergy season on the way.. the sinus tip would be very helpful... How clean is your dishwasher!!!!!?????? lol thanks for the inspo there ;) Wow so many uses - ant spray, organic pesticide....amazing tips!! Thank you, thank you, thank you! Oh and I love your polka dots robe :)
Haha!! I can't take the credit for a clean dishwasher. It's not even a month old. My last one just stopped working so we got a new one. That robe is my fav. It' s so comfy for the cooler months. #thriftstorefinds So happy you found a new way to use a product you already buy and love. Thanks for stopping by my friend!!
Glad you found it helpful! There's a link in the description to where you can buy it. I know you were telling me you hope you can find it. Just click the link and pick you the scent you want. I suggest the unscented or tea tree for your face.🧡😊
Shirlee Alicia it depends on exactly what I’m washing. I’ll add a little extra extra (a squirt or two) with the Method laundry detergent if I am washing linens, towels, my couch cover, or husbands work clothes ect. We only use biodegradable products if it’s going down the drain because of our septic system. I also have a really cool hack for HE washing machines to trick it to making it use more water for heavier loads.
Shirlee Alicia i have a very small empty detergent bottle I have on hand. After loading the laundry I fill the bottle up with water and slowly pour it over the laundry so the top layer gets saturated but it doesn’t soak through and drain. I do this maybe twice and then turn the machine on. The wet clothes now weigh slightly heavier causing the machine to use more water.
Wow, hehe, You Rock:) I've had Castille sitting around here for years. This was great info. I'll relisten, this time to take notes. Thanks so much. I'll be baack, hehe, lol. Nice meeting you and a prosperous, abundant 2020, to you.
Question..I just discovered I had some in the back of my kitchen cabinet...does DB have a expiration date? I have no idea how long I have had this....could be years..idk

I take a bar soap shredded it add to pot with water turn heat on let soap melt let cool to touch your pot then poor in a 5 gallon bucket add hot water to top mix and this is laundry soap it last my family a month or month in half just add too you wash and it cleans laundry
I use to like Dr. Bonner's soap very much, till one day reading the fine print, I found Margaret Sanger's name as she was being praised for being a great teacher, on what subject? GENOCIDE. SMH

Have you ever heard of castile soap? If so, do you like it? What your favorite way to use it? 🌿
I love Dr. Bronner's!! I use it all over the house but fav is for mopping. It gets my floors squeaky clean✨
Yup mopping is one of my fav way too!
Shirlee Alicia Nice video. I love Dr. Bronners soap. I use it as body wash.
Hi Abie! It's so nice as a body wash.
been using bronners for more than a year now, never going back! using it for shower and washing hands. Use it on myself and even my babies ( i dont bother with any baby version, just use the lavander one that i use but less amount )
I knew it was versatile, but I had no idea it was THIS versatile. Love it 😊💕
Haha, It's crazy how much you can do with just one bottle?
We use the bar soap either peppermint or tea tree on horses legs. It keeps the legs really clean and kills anything they might pick up in their stalls or on the racetrack.
Yes I do use the peppermint soap DILUTE, DILUTE, DILUTE, as the bottle says, as a mouth wash. Have been doing so for 20 years.
I've been using it for 50 years. Love it!
The best!
I love Dr. B already but had no idea I could use it for all of these additional personal and household tips. My favorite is the peppermint. I think I have 4 bottles, at least lol.
I just started using it. I've used it to was my face and body and to mop. I love it!
I have heard of Castile soap but have never used it. Great information, lady!
It's amazing. Give it try. It's alway nice to have a bottle on hand because if you run out of something you can usually use it.
I have used it for years but thanks for reminding me how wonderfully versatile it is!
You are so welcome!
The more I learn about castle soap the more I want to use it!! I've never tried the liquid. Thanks for all these tips!👍

Knowledgeable with some great practical tips; not just another RUclipsr rehashing secondhand information. 👍
Thanks for the video.
Thank you!

Dr. Bronner's is great natural product. Happy I was able to help motivate you 😉
It’s perfect for hand washing pure silk in tepid water too.
Great tips! *Thanks* !
Greetings from The Belgian Weight Lifting Dermatologist🇹🇩
My pleasure!
What kind of mop is that? Perfect! Its a swiffer that you fill the dispenser yourself!

Haha! Thanks for the toothpaste recipe. I'll have to give it try. I love DIY household and beauty products.
great, just ordered from amazon a Dr. Bronner's 4 Ounce Sampler- 5 Piece Gift Set.!!!
Hi Lauren! The sample set it great way to see what scent you like best.
I am so going to use it for makeup brushes. I had no idea and that is an awesome idea.
It works so well and the oils help to keep the brush in good condition.
Your daughter is adorable! I’m gonna use all these tips.
Excellent video! I’ve been using Dr Bronners soap for years.
Thanks! It's so good!
I've always use dr. Bronner's Castile soap. Just recently I started using it to brush my teeth. It works great! Better than the tartar control toothpaste. My teeth feel very clean throughout the day and bad breath is under control.
Good to know!
Hemp soap. One of the many reasons Hemp needs to be produced and used.
why do I remember this soap being very drying? am I wrong? great video.
This is a great video I had no idea you could use Dr Bonners for so much. Dr Bonners does have a toothpaste and I have used the cinnamon one and really liked it. The taste is strong but it works. I use mine to clean the glass shower doors. Works well on soap scum.

Definitely give them a try I think you'll love it.
I used this soap once and loved it. The only thing I didn't love was the price. But off to Amazon to order it again
You can also purchase this soap at Bed,Bath,&Beyond and use a 20% off coupon...
Order generic from amazon, works great and is much cheaper
Beautiful babies. I love Castile soaps. Glad I found your channel.🌸
Thank you! 😊
A woman in the Bronner family made a video washing her dog with the peppermint one. She said its safe for dogs just avoid getting it in their eyes.
Not all essential oils are bad for dogs but I like to stay away from them because I'd rather be safe than sorry with my little pup.
I have used the soap! It is amazing. Thank you for the video and tips!
My pleasure! Thanks for stopping by 😊
This is so helpful! I've never used this before. I love all the ways you can use it. TFS 😘
A friend of mine introduced it to me a about 10 years ago and I feel in love!!

HI! Love this video! What is the pink plastic thing you are using to clean your brushes? I NEED ONE and have NEVER seen anything like that.
Hi Amber! Thank you so much. It's called a makeup brush egg glove. - haha kind of silly - but here's a link to mine amzn.to/31JYNkW (referral link)- It's gets the job done so well. Plus it's under $3 and it's a prime item. I love it!

Very informative and nicely presented video! I like the blue funnel you used, hoping you have a link for purchase?
I don't but I got the set (a lg. and sm. one) at Ikea. Their shipping is crazy so I hope you live near one.
Its grest for camping in the back country because it doesn't harm the environment
I love these tips!!! Thank you for such a great video!
You are so welcome!

Im familiar with the soap but I didn't think of all the other things I could use it for thank you
This was so informative ... I appreciate this video 😍😍 i cant wait to try this soap

Shirlee Alicia thank you so much
🧡🧡🧡
Shirlee Alicia hey i went and bought the peppermint kind today i cant wait to use it
Glad you found it. Let me know what you think!
I dilute in half every bottle that comes in my house. Its very, very concentrated.
We use Norwex cloths on our body and face tho.
I have old hardwood floors. How do i use this to clean my hw floors? Thanks
Very Very good video & tips... you have one of the most adorable child ever😇
Thank you so much 😊
Do you also add detergent and fabric softener while using Castile soap to wash your bedding?
No I don't. Just the castile soap.
70% clear rubbing alcohol works great as window cleaner
I made a terrific alkaline cleaner, and the bubble bath. I’m looking to multi-task and save money.
I use it for hand soap.
I always add dr. Bronners to my laundry!!!!
Do you add with your laundry soap or alone?
Shirlee Alicia it depends on exactly what I’m washing. I’ll add a little extra extra (a squirt or two) with the Method laundry detergent if I am washing linens, towels, my couch cover, or husbands work clothes ect.
We only use biodegradable products if it’s going down the drain because of our septic system.
I also have a really cool hack for HE washing machines to trick it to making it use more water for heavier loads.
We have a septic tank too so I understand. Please share your tip!! I'd love to know!!

Shirlee Alicia at minute mark 2:20 I did the trick when washing my ruggable rug

Love this soap, thank you so much for all the new ways to use it!!😀
That’s the cleanest dishwasher
I Love The Peppermint Dr. Bronners Liquid ! It Is Great In A Bath To Soothe Muscles And Joints ! One Capful Does It
Good to know!
Wow, hehe, You Rock:) I've had Castille sitting around here for years. This was great info. I'll relisten, this time to take notes. Thanks so much. I'll be baack, hehe, lol. Nice meeting you and a prosperous, abundant 2020, to you.
Can i use this when i make diy body scrub?
I never heard of Castile soap !!! Super info. ! Coconut oil rocks ! Body wash sounds good..I use Baby wash !
I love coconut oil too. Another thing that you can use for a ton of things.
Thanks for your video! Can you tell me what mop you are using? Looking for something I can use a diy cleaner.
I got it from Target but don't know the brand. Sorry
Baking soda and Dr. Bronner Peppermint soap. Facial exfoliate.
I use those all time.😉
If I want to just use it as soap in the shower . Do I need to dilute?
I use it as a body wash in the shower and I don't dilute it. But if you have more sensitive skin then diluting it is optional.
So does this soap act as anti bacterial and clean germs
If you get the tea tree one.
Excellent presentation.
Hi you mentioned the soap can cause a film? How did it work on the outside windows?
Worked well for me.
Cute boston!
Question..I just discovered I had some in the back of my kitchen cabinet...does DB have a expiration date? I have no idea how long I have had this....could be years..idk
I'm not sure
Amazing video. Thank you.
Great info. Please invest in a better quality microphone. Sound is distorted.
I have a question when I mix vinagre and Castile soap it looks like lard thanks
Yes it does. You shouldn't mix with vinegar.
Yes I use it.
You talk about a film will it leave a film on the floors after mopping??
Great video and totally on point!
Glad you enjoyed it
Best soap ever.
List begins at 1:40
As the video began she was saying things I already know so I skipped forward. I use this product. I don't remember using it for shaving but isn't shaving with soap a bad idea? Ditto shampoo? It will leave a film on dishes. Not sure about some of her other ideas either. Dr. Bronners soap is good for a lot of things though.
I found the water drop noise to be distracting.
Besides the obvious, I find Dr. Bronner's soap to be good for washing cotton clothes and bedding and as a stain remover on same. The peppermint one repells roaches and ants to a degree. To me, Supermild is best to avoid allergic reactions otherwise. I use also Dr Bronners to wash greasy cast iron pans but I immediately rinse and dry them on the stove.
Awesome video, thank you!
Thanks!!
How have i never heard of this
Can you said for spots for the white shirt please
I use it in DIY laundry soap
It works great in the laundry.
What an amazing video! ماشاء الله
My boys love your dog!!
Aww tell them I said thank you!
I take a bar soap shredded it add to pot with water turn heat on let soap melt let cool to touch your pot then poor in a 5 gallon bucket add hot water to top mix and this is laundry soap it last my family a month or month in half just add too you wash and it cleans laundry
Love dr.bronner’s
Thank you
You're welcome
They dont put EOs in the soaps. They are fragrance oils. Very less concentrated.
Great video! Beautiful baby!!!
I like it to brush my teeth.
I only wash my hair with castile soap
I own a cleaning company and would love to downgrade everything in my caddy and just use a couple things
I want to use this but I need antibacterial qualities.
It is antibacterial! Especially the tea tree one because tea tree is antibacterial.
the tea tree one is naturally antibacterial 😄
I third that! The tea tree oil one is great and antibacterial. Such a wonderful product!
I love it
I use to like Dr. Bonner's soap very much, till one day reading the fine print, I found Margaret Sanger's name as she was being praised for being a great teacher, on what subject? GENOCIDE. SMH
I had no idea. I just bought Dr. Jacobs to give their brand a try.
so great tips
Thanks for showing im new to your ch.you have very cute kids.
Thanks for visiting
Cleaning tattoos.
My dad used Castile soap in an enema. I'm serious.
I was wondering if anyone would mention this. My husband has a cecostomy and sometimes uses a tiny bit in his bags as a kind of reverse enema. Your dad's not the only one! :) Apparently, it works really well. He also sometimes adds coffee or tea, but usually, it's just warm water and maybe a little bit of glycerin.
