I've been using Dr Bronners soap for almost 20 years. Mostly for bathing, shaving, produce wash, and sometimes I brush my teet with it!
I am 66 and stopped using shampoo and just use Castille Soap. In a matter of weeks after that change unbelievably my hair started filling back in thicker than ever and the color came back into about 70 percent of my Grey hair. Absolutely love this product. I use it as laundry soap as well. 👍👍👍

I’ve loved Dr. Bronner’s soap and soap label messages for decades. Unfortunately soap does not love super hard water, which is what we have here. But not to worry, Dr. Bronner also developed Sal Suds Cleaner, not as many uses but unfazed by hard water.

If you strategically use distilled water you can still use Dr. Bronner's for most things and just rinse with tap water!
Dr. Bronner's works great in any kind of soap foamer with distilled water.

Peppermint is great! Peppermint works way better for brushing your teeth too. But, for whatever reason, I think peppermint is runnier than lavender. I end up using way more of it on accident.

Since it a plastic bottle do you think there are micro plastics in that bottle? Plastics take up to 500 years to decompose polluting our air, water and soil. As the plastic bottle is breaking down in the landfill it emits methane gas which destroys the ozone layer.

I bought it as a joke because of how funny I thought an 18 in 1 was and it turned out to be such a good decision. Shampoo, body wash, shaving cream, aftershave, I use it for everything and my skin and hair has never looked and felt better. Can't beat the price either, really loving this as a college student. Thank you for breaking down the history, this video was extremely interesting!

Do you dilute the soap? Have been told is too concentrated
@@passepartout123 I put it directly on a damp washcloth, works fine without any dilute. I'm sure you could also dilute it it would probably help make it go further.
Also I'll mention if you want to get away from the chemicals this stuff is all you need. It's safer to use on pets or children than your typical dog shampoo or baby shampooers. Good if you've got sensitive skin.
I use the peppermint bar soap to shower and wash my hair but also use ACV after rinsing the soap out.
Makes it soft and shiny.
I have fine hair I use 2 tbsp ACV for 1 cup water
And now they have chocolate...its called Magic chocolate. Vegan dark or Oat milk base. Good for the people and the planet.

knowing the history is nice, but you didn't really say its uses, and most soaps have these uses. I used bronners and found the scent was so intense I couldn't use it. The mint smelled like a hospital and the almond was like walking into a marzipan factory. I use dr.woods. Not sure if he has as intense a story but the soap is nicer to breathe in.

Love your channel! How much of which product should you dilute in distilled water to clean a laptop screen like the MacBook? I was thinking a few drops of Dr. Bronner's unscented or something like Method Shower Cleaner. I'm trying to make a product similar to the too expensive Whoosh. Thanks for the answer.
It is a good product, but I would never use it to brush my teeth due to the fact that it lacks fluoride.
Flouride is a bi product of aluminum, if you like toxic metals in your brain and liver, have at it, do a deep dive research of the origins of flouride, you will be shocked
I used the bar peppermint so for a month and it left the worst soap scum in my bathtub that I've ever seen in my life and I'm a housekeeper so I know all about soap scum. Took me over an hour to scrub it off each time i cleaned my tub.
yeah I hear ya! I looked it up and found this: Dr. Bronner’s soap scum happens because it’s a natural, castile soap made primarily from oils like coconut, olive, and hemp. When this soap interacts with hard water (which contains high levels of calcium and magnesium), the minerals bind with the soap, creating insoluble soap scum.
Unlike synthetic detergents that don’t react the same way with hard water, natural soaps form this residue more easily. It’s harmless but can build up on surfaces. A quick fix is rinsing with vinegar or wiping surfaces down with a solution of vinegar and water to dissolve the scum.
Pimples and acne zits know they are up for a real fight the peppermint.

I tried it a few times not crazy about it. Really was hoping to like it. I have diluted it. Used the peppermint on my plants outside- did not like the smell. Tried the tea tree - weird smell. Tried another big bottle of another scent used in toilet tank couldn’t stand the smell. Didn’t clean good at all when I diluted it. So disappointed . Maybe just me but after spending a lot for 4 big bottles was totally bummed .

Ever have a dog tangle with a skunk? No Problem if you have Dr Bronner's Liquid Peppermint Soap on hand. Before you get the fur wet squirt a line of peppermint soap down the back of your pup then add water lather up and immediately notice the skunk smell is just gone. Rinse repeat just once and rinse again. No muss, No fuss and best of all No linguring skunk smell at all. Note Do Not Apply on cats.

I recently jus bought sample size hopefully I like it and use it in the shower then process to using em as a household cleaner hopefully I like it and will consider buying all the other products in future

I used their Castile soap, thinking that it was only made with olive oil like true Castile soap, and I had a horrible allergic reaction over my entire body. That's when I actually read the bottle and saw "hemp". I'm sooooo allergic to hemp. I was pretty disappointed, because I think they have a good product, but they put hemp in everyone of them.

No, I didn’t try that. According to their website: Laundry: 1/3-1/2 c. (80-120 mL) soap for a large load in a regular washer. Add 1 c. (240 mL) vinegar to the rinse cycle. Optional: For whitening/deodorizing, add 1/2 c. (120 mL) baking soda to wash cycle. Halve these amounts for HE washers.
Sold this amazing product at our health food store in the 70’s! The label matured my spirituality! Essene principles.
