I'm confused... at places like 1:16 , is he playing doubles on each foot? cuz it really doesn't look like it, it looks like slow double bass. if that is true, why is it fast double bass in the audio????
Have you ever actually tried kick drum double strokes or heel/toe? It's not as easy as you think. It's a different level of difficulty. Nothing wrong with a drummer being efficient to allow the rest of his performance to stay strong. Samus is still physically performing the same part, just in a different way.
I have a hard time playing the bass drum without shoes but if I can go that fast by going so slow will it help me to practice playing without shoes on Samus?
