Oh yurr bro 🤘🏼😈🤘🏼
can you do a video on how you recorded the DED 400 please Im trying to make tiktok/yt videos of my own
IT'S BASED OFF ME GUYS🤠
Hi Samus I hope you read this but you probably won't and that's ok but when you posted this I was in the middle of surgery on my foot I'm just saying this and making this comment in the hopes that you will wish me luck on my 6 month long road to recovery thank you in advance and as always ooooooooh yuurrrrr
@66samus you should react to thoughts and prayers by motionless in white and then try to play it
Hell ya dude! It’s not an easy song! I can attest! I just played it every night for 43 shows in a row with Fear Factory!! 😊🤘🏽🥁🤘🏽
Saw you in San Diego and you crushed!!!
Kick ass. Been drumming over 25 years but only picked up double kick like 5 years ago so I suck
@@carlossousa24 You gotta suck before you get good brother. Embrace the suck.
@@carlossousa24 keep going man everybody sucks at first!
Hell yeah, and you KILLED IT! Saw you in Minneapolis and the show was amazing! I specifically went to see Fear Factory and was not disappointed. I'm super stoked about the future of FF!
Demanufacture is such a great album!
Did you also like remanifacture?
@@superpug666 I did!
That is a great album but I like obsolete more
Demanufacture is my favorite album by FF. But I may be partial to that album because that was my introduction to them.
Mortal Kombat.... I liked it)))❤
Raymond Herrera does not get nearly enough credit for all of the unique and amazing drum work he has done. Huge fan
Yes, 💯 in my opinion, he's on the same level as Chris Adler.
Actually, he is good as Gene Hoglan
100 percent agree. Ray was a beast.
@@menguonganstep it back dude. Are you fucking crazy? Hoglan is the human metronome for a reason. As good as Herrera is, he’s WAAAY sloppier than Hoglan. And not on purpose either. He writes great patterns but dude doesn’t have 25% the skills as hoglan.
I’ll drink to that!!!
Man, Fear Factory have some of the coolest drum parts.
Raymond Herrera is an underrated beast and a phenomenal drummer. One of the most recognizable drummers on the Extreme/Industrial scene because of their fills and double bass work.
That is the truth.
@@giullianomartini honest question though: anything Dino has done ends up sounding the same in that it doesn't really sound any different now after like what 5 drummers since? So who wrote the parts? I ate there cool but being a guitarist and drummer second, to me Fear factory sounds like a drummer playing parts a guitarist wrote at home on his drum machine... which i think is pretty much the gig when play with Dino(You're paid to play, not think or contribute). Anyone know who really wrote that parts? Playing is awesome enough, yes but I'm curious who wrote them.
@@PrincessDaddy-s2s Raymond wrote most (all?) of the drums. He was always about having each song being identifiable just by the drum parts. Post-Raymond, I'm pretty sure most drums are by Dino though. At least the big picture, though Gene added a lot of his own things which you can hear from how different Mechanize sounds drum-wise compared to the other albums.
Ray Herrera was one of my biggest influences as a young metal drummer.
Same here and still is. Love it or hate it his drumming on Resurrection is perfection!
Same.. mid 90's i think
I’m not even a drummer (bass player actually) and I agree here. Raymond CRUSHED the drums. Raymond and Gene Hoglan are my all time favs.
Always loved Hererras drumming. He beat the shit out of his kit lol
@@SvendleBerries He did but he never played this song as clean live as Pete or Samus
Mr. Raymond Herrera is one of the most underrated drummers in Heavy Metal history…
Similarly Dino Cazares is also so soolso wildly underrated and he & Herrera together are one of the craziest awesom rhythm section/songwriting team in existence
The playing is incredible, but what impresses me the most is how Raymond composed those mechanical-artificial-digital drum patterns. Grroove is often advertised as the hardest thing in drumming but reproducing or emulating the precision of a machine is very very difficult. Excellent job Samus! Greetings from Mexico
Yeah, that's a good point - and not just the precision, but the weird patterns that you could program easily but seem so counterintuitive on real drums, like the thing with 16ths on the hi hats and double kick underneath - it's playable (if hard), but just so counter to the normal idiom of metal drumming, so it really drives home that artificial-but-not kind of thing. So cool
That's really cool drum parties, but I recall Dino said that some drums on that album were programmed first indeed. But there is no doubt that the FF drummer's performance is still awesome!
Never realized how weird some of those snare placements are. I'm not musically trained so I'm not sure what time signature it was. Starting 1:07.
@@Mr2it3881 yeah, that’s another fun detail - the placement isn’t that odd, but most drummers would probably play the offbeat snare hits as ghost notes, so playing them at full volume really emphasises the drum machine vibes!
háblame en español, pariente
You know it's a good day when Samus uploads a spicy Fear Factory playthrough. Just absolute 🤌 perfection! Oooooh yuuuuuuur!
@@Henrydingus01123 That means it's a Dog Day Sunrise.
I bought this album right after watching the original "Mortal Kombat" movie with my son in 1995. Such a classic, and it created a whole new genre of industrial metal.
yes!!! that album turned me on to this! it was the first time i ever heard a low B chord. when scorpion shows up and the intro kicked in i was like whaaaaaaaaaat is thaaaaaat. i immediately tuned my 6 string down to B and had my mom take me to tower records to get the soundtrack. then i got demanufacture for christmas.
Watched mortal kombat on laser disc religiously. When I stumbled on these guys I was like where have I heard that before?🤔
That album also had Type O, Sister Machine Gun and Gravity Kills on it. Amazing soundtrack.
@@Fire-Toolz Awesome bro
Same; the moment I heard the bit at 2:49 with those resonant synths taking over... 🤯
Always think about Johnny Cage fighting Scorpion in the MK movie when I hear this song. Fear Factory rules so hard!
Say what you want about those old movies as a big mk fan I love them.
I always think of the first Carmageddon game for PC 1997 😆 Such an amazing soundtrack
Best line in the movie is when scorpion says “Welcome”
@@heyimgoingtoplaysomegamesduuuude, I forgot about that game until this moment. Thank you
I got intruded to FF through test drive 5 from one of their electronic remixes 21st century Christ or something, which I dug, so I was surprised to hear how insanely heavy (and awesome) they actually were.
Those video game soundtracks back in the day were excellent!
I always love Fear Factory's drumming. Sounds like machine guns crossed with galloping horses. You killed it man!!
I really miss you doing cover videos, Sam. Thanks buddy
He still did them lately right? But not on RUclips due to circumstances if I'm correct
He's on twitch most days
@@stewelsby666 lol. See my badge? I have known Sam for going on eight years now. Just want to state that I miss him doing cover videos is all but thank you 🤘
Making this look so easy is honestly sickening. Lol You're amazing man. Even Gene Hoglan gave props to Ray for this one
Gene is super modest , one of the greatest metal drummers of all time for sure
@@Hhhlll7778dark Angel is amazing
I was working a show in Tulsa when Gene Hoglan was playing for Fear Factory and I was about 3 feet away off to the side just watching his feet..... Gene stuttered slightly and came right back in....I turned and looked at my boss and said " He is human. I can sleep at night now." Watching Gene play for an hour at that side of the stage was insane.
Yeah Gene is a monster too💧🌫️💦💦🎛️💶💣🕳️💔🤎🖤💙💝💖💟✡️🔯🔺🔻🔳🔲🔈🔈🔊🔇♣️📢🎴🇲🇽💔💔🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
I remember playing carmageddon with this track ripping in the background.... It cemented my love for metal.
Bet that hurt!
what an intro song to have for the game!
Me too. The game CD I had played the demanufacture album all the way through without vocals if you put it in a CD player - it was fucking sick. Wish I still had it.
Triple combo here!
"WELCOME!"
True mortal kombat fans will know... 🤘
Absolutely..
*punch in the face* \m/
💯
You good sir have just made my day! Fear Factory is my favorite band. Fucking crushed it!
Such an amazing song, and this whole albums still sounds modern to this day. Raymond was an absolute beast, and so underrated. Wish he still played.
Mortal Kombat 1995
Ohhyurrrr
So far ahead of the time! Album still gets regular spin in my household..much love from Australia cheers Sam
Ray is such an underrated drummer. Great cover Sam!
Considering how freaking note-for-note this is, I can't imaging the time and love put into this cover. Amazing work Seamus!
Great Job Sam! 🔥
This song is trickier than I realized. Sick.
Soooo good! Been in love with this song since I was a kid. Most notoriously from Scorpion VS Johnny Cage 🤘
Demanufacture is the album that got me into metal, I'd literally never heard anything heavier than Guns N Roses until then.
Raymond was a machine! Great drumming Sam!
Raymond was such a great drummer and Burtons voice, wow
Great cover, Samus! Back in 1996/97 Demanufacture was my go-to album while playing Quake online.
Even Gene said Zero Signal is a monster to play night in and out. Love the heck out of the drum work Raymond did for this song.
Hey 66Samus, love to see some fear factory drum playthroughs. Stellar work!
Ive said this for 20yrs, but Herrera had some of the absolute best footwork in the game, and that still holds true to this day for me
The first 4 seconds of this video is exactly how I feel everytime I hear this song start!!!!
Where my mortal kombat fans at????
Hell.yah!!! Right here boy!!
Yesssss! Amazing song and performance. Thanks for this one Samus!
Love Demanufacture, spot on cover as always ❤ FF kinda got me in to metal from a young age from playing Carmageddon, will never forget it!
Great job covering my favorite Fear Factory song!
Great track. What an interesting history fear factory has had. This track and album just resonates so much of my high school years
Johnny cage wins flawless victory
Samus…I bet I’ve watched this six times already. Such great passion and love 😊
thank you Charlene!!
Awesome job, Samus! I love that album. Makes me think of Carmageddon.
Freakin' excellent!!!!! One of the most underrated metal songs of the 20th Cent.!!!
Demanufacture is a fucking masterpiece.
Dreaming of the Carmaggedon intro right about now ❤❤
You've just introduced me to Fear Factory... Thanks
The first metal song I can consciously remember hearing. Like a lot of people, I heard it in the Mortal Kombat movie and got into metal not long after that
Man! I grew up on this! Thanks for doing this song.
Easily one of my favorite Fear Factory tunes!! Nicely done, Sam!
My all time favorite song from my all time favorite band and YOU FUCKING KILLED IT! Kudos! Dig the ankle socks rockin the double kick. LOL
Your facial expressions are fucking fantastic! ROFL Love it!
That's some technically difficult drumming. Nice work as usual Samus!
Ray is on the mount rushmore of drummers.
Raymond Herrera is such an underrated drummer! Thanks for absolutely crushing this song!
This album had such an impact on me as a kid. My dad played this album, Far Beyond Driven by Pantera and Among the Living by Anthrax a ton growing up. Demanufacture was always my favorite though.
My first concert was in 2005 and my dad took me and Fear Factory was the main show. I'll never forget it, I was in 6th grade, it was at The Palladium in Worcester MA. Suffocation, Hypocrisy, and Decapitated were the openers. Seeing those 3 before FF completely opened my mind to a completely different side of metal, and my Dads as well. The only other band that had as close too an impact on my musical taste was Beneath the Massacre when they first came out.
All that too say, thank you for this cover. This band will forever hold an immense place in my heart and this album started it all.
Killer as always Samus! My favourite track from the album🔥🔥🔥 such great memories!!
Fear Factory is one of the ultimate tests of limb independence. I remember thinking that before I ever took up an instrument.
Sometimes I forget how insane Demanufacture album is. This drum is SICK!
When this album came out it was insanity
“Attention all competitors: This is your one minute warning. I repeat, one minute until race commencement. Members of the public: You now have one minute to reach minimum safe distance!”
So glad I got to meet the band back in 2007. Great guys. I was against the very front of the stage and Burton kept fist bumping me. Amazing show.
I fist bumped Burton also lol. Cool dude
Sick dude!!!! Raymond Herrera's drumming is so damn good. Really underrated.
That one takes me back to high school! Almost forgot about raymonds kicks!!!
This takes me back to watching johnny cage fight scorpion lol. This song fuckin rips!
Just perfect, Raymond Herrera would be proud 🤘🏻
This will always be my favorite fear factory song. I think I can speak for every drummer that reads this when I say it's also one of the most painful songs to play on the drums. You can see the pain in your face all through the video, it's okay you can admit it 😂. Suuuuuper clean cover though!!! Much love
Absolutely CRUSHED it. Amazing!
It's the song that changed my musical tastes forever!
You killed it bro
The song and band that got me into heavy metal.
Literally my favorite Feat Factory song!!! Great job!!!
How the hell is this song 28 years old already?
22 plus 6 years old 🤭
YES! Zero Signal is one of my favorite Fear Factory songs! Awesome Drumming Samus!
Yyyesss, my favorite FF song. Mortal Kombat. 🤘🤘🤘 Raymond Herrera is a legend
The first song of Fear Factory, which I heard a long time ago, was Zero Signal (from MK movie soundtrack). I remember, how much I was impressed. Perfect playthrough, Samus! #ohhyurrr
Same!
How I miss Raymond. But this was perfection, you murdered it! I had almost forgotten his capacity for groove which comes in towards the end. Thank you so much for this. Soundtrack of my youth - when everything was simpler.
Man, I've spent so many hours playing Carmageddon to this... Great playthrough! :D
Carmageddon was a milestone in my life.
I can't hear this song without thinking about Scorpion vs Johny Cage. Well played Samus!
So pleased with and affirmed by all the Mortal Kombat comments!
Oh wow this is my FAVORITE Fear Factory song of all time!!!!!! Amazing cover!!!!!
Thats a pretty innovative set of beats
Mortal Kombat.... nice ❤ scorpion vs cage
👏👏👏👏 perfectly executed! Headbanging Samus, OH YUUUR 🤘🤘🤘
Was 1995 when i was at the cinema watching Jonhy Cage vs Scorpion and geting introduced to Fear Factory . Who else ?

Mortal Combat's soundtrack - forever in my heart! I mean - forever on my disk :)
This is indeed very difficult parts to play indeed🤘🏾
This is a classic. Great playing!
Sick cover man !

By the end of it I couldn't tell what was hair and what was drum stick... f***ing awesome playing my dude!
MORTAL KOMBAT! 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
Your drumming is always so good.
thank you so much!!
Oh my lord the nostalgia. Brings me back to when I discovered Fear Factory via a PC game called Carmageddon (circa 1997). Been a fan of the band ever since!
Amazing cover of a fantastic song from a banger of an album front-to-back!! Raymond H. crafted some excellent metal drum patterns.
Great drum cover 😃🤘🏼🖤☄️🥁
hell yeah!!!!! i have been listening fear factor for what feels like lifetime.. cool to see you play it!
Raymond is one of my favorite drummers. Absolute legend.
Nice one Sam, appreciate you doing one of my faves. Keep rocking, brother \m/
Yeah I’m back for another watch. Fear Factory is just so good
That riff and drum combo at 2:18
Man, Ray Herara is a beast❤❤. My favorite FF song 🤘🤘
I've seen Fear Factory so many times. Never a bad show. Well at least back in the late 90's-early 2000's.
I've only seen them live once back in 2004 and they were incredible.
Can attest that they still killed live well into the 2010s. They were one of the best acts still.
