This kind of bass drum speed and precision was unheard of in Finland in 1999, we went nuts for it as teenagers, and it's still such a cool song 20 years later.
I assume Jaska is pretty legendary in Finland? I mean he is globally, but especially in Finland I bet

recent bodom albums are absolute shit compared to the 4 first albums
The first four were quite good.
The last album isn't that bad, but it doesn't comes close to the first four (the fifth is pretty good too). Hatebreeder for me is the best Melodic Death Metal album of all time!
My favorite piece by Bodom. One of my earliest influential songs. Alexi was a god. RIP.

Everytime I see drummers cover this song, they almost as a rule are playing with Axis longboards. It's quite something, that Jaska did this with Pearl Eliminators. They're some good pedals, I used to play with them also, but still... damn. Those Axis ones are something special. Tried them a few times in music shops, and the precision is something else with the solid attachments.
