I appreciate the videos! We're planning to fly into ANC for a week in late June/early July. Planning to drive up to Denali for the few days, but definitely want to get in some whale watching out of Seward, too.
Thanks for the tips & structure of your video description with timestamps etc. this is the first vid i've found of yours but will check out the channel. if you live in Alaska it'd be great for you to have your own captured clips to go along with the tips you provide just to take the content up a notch, like on the mention of Beluga Point, it'd be cool to have a cut to you at that location. But I realize there is the extra work and cost associated with getting those shots too. thanks again, i've captured many of your tips for future reference! :)
I'm very lucky to say that I do live in Alaska! I don't always film myself when i'm out and about so that's why I'm not always in these video clips :D Thanks for watching and the tips!
Usually the tours have a few pairs of binoculars you can ask to use! But you can call ahead to double check with your tour operator. They try to get as close as safely possible so they’re easily visible from the boat.
Who wants to see some whales? :D
Meeeeee! Humpback whales!
Going end of May 2021!
@@jesslicvaldez5282 Awesome! Maybe you'll see some Orcas!

Awesome tips! Do you think people can kayak anywhere out there to see whales? Or are the seas too rough for kayaks?
If you want to sea kayak it’s best to have experience and local knowledge! Lots of different kayaking routes to choose from.
Do u have to carry ur own binoculars?
