Great tips! BTW Noa will be a year old at the end of the month, I remember that we were on the bloggers cruise, and the news spread really quick. God bless her, she is beautiful!
We did a sea-and-land cruise with Holland America in September (10th - 25th). The weather wasn't too bad, but it rained on two crucial days (land tour to Yukon, College Fjord). One big down-side of a late tour: Things were shutting down! Many of the restaurants in Seward and Denali had shut down for the year. We were stuck with the expensive resort restaurant in Denali, and some of the attractions had closed for the year.
You'll have to take Noa back when she's a little older so she can make memories of the glacier and everything. :) Alaska is one of those places that lines up well for school children and their vacation. Glad to see this video. I'm going to Alaska on a cruise in July with my Dad and stepmother. We found out we all had Alaska on our bucket list and decided to go for it. I was finally able to talk them out of the sled dog excursion and into whale watching in Juneau. I love dogs. I adore dogs. It sounded fun to play with Alaskan Husky puppies and learn about sledding, but my brother has Siberian Huskies. I can go pet them. That's what I told them. Come on! Let's do something different. We can always play with puppies. Go to any animal shelter (again, I adore dogs, I have a dog). So, we're doing whale watching combined with a rainforest trail hike and visiting the Mendenhall glacier. They only do 20 people per group, so that should be nice. We were going to do an excursion involving a train in Skagway, but we're going on a wildlife safari in Haines, Alaska instead. I compromised to get the whales. I don't mind seeing bears though. Thank you for the tips!
hmmm try clicking the links in the description like salmon bake then navigate to the helicopter tour to see if the discount automatically applies. Remember it's up to 40% off but we paid $1600 when we went so im unsure what the price is now, best of luck!
We’re doing an Alaskan cruise at the end of May. We chose May as I have two daughters in college, and they’ll be doing summer school starting in early June. Hoping we have a great time as we’ve never been to Alaska. Fantastic video.
Should be for all of them with shore excursions group! You may have to shoot them an email to see if the sale is still going on and refer to This video!
Hey Griff. Believe I’ve already told you guys going in July on Celebrity Edge with MAS. So appreciate these tips. Will be amazing for Noa to see her travels from 6/7 months at sea ( prior on land). Q: what’s the range of the price point of excursions? Would think some a handful of coins. Especially the helicopter 🚁. Don’t like bloody Mary’s so that drink is a no 😂. Was gonna say. How does the guide know the glacier water totally free of bacteria. Well bacteria thrives better in heat so I guess but I’ll take your word for it. I’ll pass. Snorkeling 🤿? Wow. What was that red creature you were or whoever was holding? Oh my. Great tips. Thanks so much 🤗. Have a great weekend.
You did too much food and beer. I'm more interested in what to see. I'm not against drinking, but I can't drink most beer. I understand that they do brew hard cider in Alaska. I would be interested in that.

I don’t see the discount for the helicopter tour- can you share?

Self-guided tour is such a perversion. It's not a tour if it's self-guided.
