I have a ‘99 with 125k that I picked up for $5k in early 2021 right before things went crazy with used car prices. It’s been great so far with only some trouble with the A/c switches. Everything else works great. Once a luxury truck, haul kayaks and mountain bikes with it. Comfy ride home from a day of fun, the kids actually love it. MPGs are low, but we got over 16+ on a long trip from PA to OBX with 4 passengers plus luggage. Not selling any time soon.

Yeah I have trouble with the ac switch to the vents so what I do is tap lightly with a soft hammer the front face black box underneath the glove box while switching to upper vents and it works they start blowing normal but I never turn it off or it cuts out again so yeah I don’t switch it off always on and never switch it to anything else just vents I got 275k on mine

That is real wood even on the steering wheel. Zebra wood from Africa. In the manual it says so I believe. Mine has almost 200,000 miles. Its been a workhorse and we love it will keep the 99 but it has electrical issues that make it a risk now. Just bought a 2010 Escalade EXT with 90,000 miles. Love Caddie

I still drive my 99 YUKON DENALI and love it but always thought GM was lazy by selling this as a Cadillac , regardless of Ford getting a jump on them , they duked people out of money just from a badge swap , shady sells in my opinion , cant tell me by changing the badges it cost thousands more , with that said i do love its a 2 year model only , i never see the same truck parked near me , in a world where trucks look like rigs from space , im happy with my old yukon , always get compliments on it , im hoping its my last truck i plan on keeping it till i leave this place ....

Always loved the front end of this generation. And those plush seats. The newer Escalades have hard uncomfortable seating, they could learn a bit from looking back 20 years to this.
