Very cool video.
That noise is actually what's called "mains hum". It's the noise that happens when large current is passed through a coil, and the expanding and collapsing magnetic field (60 hz) starts vibrating all the metal parts in the motor.
Lamination of the coils can help reduce this noise, but it will always be there.

Actually, there are also a lot of VFD sounds here, which are at a much higher frequency.

much of the sound you hear with the Intamin LIMs and premier/mack LSMs is VFD noise, the noise on the intamin LSMs is the driving frequency and physical disturbance of air from the fins passing close to the magnets. The only ones where you're hearing true hum from 60hz mains is the premier LIMs which sound like giant microwaves as they lack VFDs and are effectively just connected straight to mains power during launch.

That’s an LSM; I don’t think accelerator coasters would want to have LIM’s because LSM’s can be used as brakes if there was a rollback.

@@mr.z_yt Accelerator coasters can't have LSMs either. They are, by their very definition, hydraulic launch coasters. "Accelerator coaster" is a specific model by Intamin that uses hydraulic launches.
