- In this video I go over the Honest truth about Parfums de Marleys new release, Perseus. This review openly talks about Perseus, reviewing this fragrance honestly.
It's a shame that a lot of reviewers are skewing their reviews based on the free bottles that they receive, however; I feel that it's important to take a subjective approach to bringing you, the viewer, honest feedback on a fragrance. Hopefully this video encourages you to sample first, and explore other brands that potentially offer more value instead of.a brand name behind a bottle.

Your anger is quite funny. I just picked this fragrance up today. As usual, all the snobs feel compelled to bash the new release in some sort of hive mind, group think fashion. Because of this, I was expecting not to like it when I smelled it. Then I smelled it and absolutely loved it and bought it on the spot. The performance is stellar. I was getting projection 6 hours in. This fragrance is so much higher in quality than TDH that it isn’t even close.
I’m happy you like the fragrance. By all means you can enjoy what u enjoy. I personally think this is a cash grab of a release. If you bought it retail, at the price they are asking, there are a variety of options, in my opinion

i paid 220 for my 125ml perseus. I think it smells & performs better than the hermes ( i also have it)
Glad you’re enjoying it, to me Hermes’ at 200ml for $160 cad is a better value, the difference between the two is minimal. This PDM release felt like a total cash grab. But if whoever buys it enjoys it, that’s all that matters at the end.
@@FoodnFragrances I understand how you feel. I had that same feeling with percival, but in that case i felt like it was indeed a back to back copy of fierce. With perseus I can easily tell it apart from Hermes and the performance is such a beast 10+ hrs with solid sillage, and even at 24hrs and after showering I could still smell hints of it.

@@FoodnFragrances I got it in today. And I really enjoy it. However, at first it smelled like light blue forever ish although, much finer quality. So I was like meh but it changes to something very elegant and addicting. I actually was like wait this is what I sprayed? It still is light blue forever ish but powdery as well, not heavy but not light either. I don’t regret my purchase. I slightly regret not getting the bigger bottle. But I don’t have any of those to compare to.
U a hater bro lol this fragrance is fire and performance is beast mode and considering most pdms can be found on discounters for under 200 it’s s great pickup at that price…also terre de Hermes quality is also no where near this

Honestly same, u know what’s crazy? I discovered Basso recently, from Sospiro. Same price range, as retail, but Basso is just miles and miles ahead of this Perseus nonsense. If u get a chance, give that a sample :)

Great review. I couldn't agree more. Perseus is a verg average fragrance. Super basic. Almost trash. 😂 PDM as a whole is an average house, AT BEST. Keep up the great content.

Ima say it again Roja Elysium all day over Perseus!! In my opinion it’s gets boring at the end on me when I wore it to the gym I noticed i got 10ml decant of this and I barely used the rest because it’s that boring sorry Perseus
