Thanks for your review. D'Hermes has a special place in my heart as it was one of the fragrances that got me into collecting. Personally, Perseus was a big disappointment, one of the only disappointments from PDM, for me. The similarities are too much to TDH which makes Perseus not unique enough from a reputable niche house, such as PDM. It is still a reasonable fragrance. However, not worth full retail £240 for what is essentially an expensive, poor imitation of a classic fragrance TDH. It is interesting how people have different experiences with fragrance.
No gay talk but did you fly off to Turkey? Didn’t need to because you have a perfectly shaped head to rock it bald. Nevertheless I hope it works for you. Great breakdown on this frag🤙🏾
I find Perseus much fresher and easier to wear than TdH. There’s a dirty earth note in TdH that is simply absent in Perseus. The PDM is zesty, fresh, dynamic, soft and youthful. Terre d’Hermes has that old man’s vibe/association that I prefer to avoid 😂 conclusion: Perseus all the way 🧡
@@visionaryfragrances I watched your vid only after having written my comment and we do agree. Just sprayed Perseus on my hand and this is such a beautiful fragrance, fresh but smooth, quite a linear note breakdown for a PDM but the fruit note (grapefruit?) is so addictive. Perseus has a green twist that never becomes as earthy or dirty as TDH. It remains airy and soft. It took me some time to get used to the scent, I found it too feminine at first, but strangely enough it’s grown on me to the extent that I consider it a really masculine freshie. Definitely bottle worthy and a less obvious choice in the PDM line-up than their Layton, Carlisle, Sedley or Pegasus classics. A real treat as far as I’m concerned.
What I don't like about TDH EDT is the mandarin / orange note. I like the vetiver. I also have eau de vetiver intense. I just can't get my nose around that orange / mandarin. I prefer the EDP.
I prefer Perseus. much softer and long lasting dry down. And it lasts for days on me clothes
I hear Perseus smells closer to Terre D’Hermes Eau Tres Fraiche. Can you confirm that?
I’d love it if you compare it to the Hermes Eau Givree or the Vetiver Intense. I think those are much harder to separate.
Perseus has its own vibe and just smells great. A no nonsense type of fragrance and feels like a modernized TDH. It has fantastic longevity as well.

@@AlpineMontane honestly, I fail to find the similarities you are talking about. To me they really smell quite different.
I think PDM is more fruity with fresh citrus, while Hermes is more bitter and strong
I’ve got both. My girl loves Perseus on me.

Great way to describe both fragrances. I agree with everything you said

Pdm is clone house for insane prices
I think you have no clue. 😂
