Glad you’re enjoying it, to me Hermes’ at 200ml for $160 cad is a better value, the difference between the two is minimal. This PDM release felt like a total cash grab. But if whoever buys it enjoys it, that’s all that matters at the end.

@@FoodnFragrances I understand how you feel. I had that same feeling with percival, but in that case i felt like it was indeed a back to back copy of fierce. With perseus I can easily tell it apart from Hermes and the performance is such a beast 10+ hrs with solid sillage, and even at 24hrs and after showering I could still smell hints of it.

Hey! Not to me it doesn’t. Imagination to me is more tea like. Bottega Venetta is more brighter, citrus fruity. I would say it’s a bit closer to the feel of a Tygar/vibrato, while still having a bit of its own style

Honestly! It’s a very uneasy unboxing experience. I didn’t even get the slip cover removal on camera because of how obnoxiously tight it was. Otherwise, great fragrances lol, they just need to really improve on packaging

@@FoodnFragrances I totally agree. Beautiful bottles and scent but as for the packaging unlike a lot of perfume houses like Arabian Oud beautiful boxes.

I have, I like it, but it is strong. It’s definitely a fragrance that is more for special occasions instead of everyday wear. It’s really good but not too versatile in my opinion

Haha I should pit the same house together tho eh? For your case, Burlington vs Oceania. I feel like Burlington is soooo much smoother and so much more of an everyday wear in comparison to Oceania. I have both, and I def reach for Burlington more :) hope that helps

@@FoodnFragrances i received Contralto a week ago. It’s amazing!!!! I also have a 5ml of byredo. I compared the two, and contralto is what I preferred. Byredo was more floral, and contralto was a bit more citrusy. Overall both are great, but the performance and sweetness from contralto is what made it superior vs byredo. I purchased the Byredo roll on oil, and I layer it with contralto, for even better performance 😅

@@Beat__The__Odds I totally see it, contralto has that extra something special to it that actually justifies the difference in price. I still love byredo, I think there’s a time and place for it, but contralto is literally love

It’s tough, it’s the same thing. I look at it, and I’m like ughhhh, I don’t want to lose money and sell anything. I’m happy with my Boadicea collection, I nearly love everything from them luckily, except a few here and there

@@FoodnFragrances yes in fact as you said we start to make mistakes when we want to complete a whole collection, I also think that it is a very big mistake. and making blind purchases was also my big problem. sometimes we listen to reviews and judge based on other people's opinions. You should always sample a perfume in order to test it well and then see if you buy it or not. we learn from our mistakes. but it is also that sometimes there are perfumes which are very difficult to sample like ensar oud or shareef al oud for example

For real, it even started when I was collecting Tom ford because of the chess piece bottles lol. And I sold those at a loss. As long as we learn and grow it’s never too late 🙏🏽

I’m happy you like the fragrance. By all means you can enjoy what u enjoy. I personally think this is a cash grab of a release. If you bought it retail, at the price they are asking, there are a variety of options, in my opinion <- key words, that do it better. But if you’re happy with your purchase, than that’s all that really matters. Cheers!

My pleasure, I’ll do a full breakdown of this. MDCI is really nice quality at a decent price point for niche, relatively. Invasion Barbare might be one of the best fougere (lavender) scents I have in my collection, and Chypre palatin? Jheeze, chefs kiss. I like Blue Satin because it has that Aventus feel, with a vanilla touch too it.
