Currently I have Blue, Auqa, Green and Tobacco Sapphire, Consort, Heroin, 1907, Knight of Love and my current center piece Valiant. Now I will have 2 center pieces... This house is absolutely amazing and my favorite!

@FoodnFragrances Tobacco Sapphire is aaaaabbbsolutely amazing! No one seems to talk about the Mandarin Orange on top of the tobacco! Such a well blended fragrance and I would say one of the best I've smelled... OMG! I'll definitely check out the 2 you mentioned.

Contralto is a goat, makes the freak obsolete at this point. Hunuman is expensive and out of reach for me but I will have to try a sample at some point.

Just smelled byredo today. OMG!!!!! The scent is beautiful, but the performance is not the best. People told me to get Contralto Sospiro. I ordered a 5ml decant to test it. This was the review I needed to watch 💯

Byredo was more floral, and contralto was a bit more citrusy. Overall both are great, but the performance and sweetness from contralto is what made it superior vs byredo. I purchased the Byredo roll on oil, and I layer it with contralto, for even better performance 😅

I love bal D’afrique, to me it performs really well on my skin. I get 6 hrs roughly when I wear it. Contralto I get maybe 8 hrs of performance with it. It’s fairly strong and vibrant. If you try contralto, you will definitely get bal D’afrique vibes with it, but you’ll also enjoy the scent with its additions of citrus
You make excellent points of view. I agree with you on all. I am hesitant to get Contralto though as the ingredients list cloves which I hate in fragrances. Do you think you can smell the cloves? I am definitely getting Hanuman, it is sensational.

Hanuman has this sense of blooming off the skin, whereas contralto has a bit more punch. However scent profile, they are really really close. So if you like Hanuman, you will definitely love contralto
Does Contralto have a strong Vetiver note? Vetiver is my least favorite note and it’s very prominent in Bal D’Afrique so I didn’t enjoy the dry down of Bal D’Afrique. Thank you!
I don’t think it’s strong, I can see its contributions to the composition for sure but I wouldn’t say strong, where bal D’Afrique has a bit of that dry feeling, contralto has lovely citruses with the bal D’Afrique dna. Very similar, but just done better. I hope that helps bro. Get a sample first

Trust me, I totalllyyyy understand. It’s more so of a treat to myself. Fragrances are diverse like that. Soo many already smell good at different price ranges and the difference in raw materials and quality may not be what a person prioritized, and that’s okay. As long as you smell good, you feel confident, and you’re happy with what u have, that’s all that matters. 🍻

Another competitor is Emir Vetiver Delight by Paris Corner which is a U.A.E. fragrance brand. The DNA clone is 90% or higher.

I have a few boadicea the victorious fragrances but i can't just see myself paying 1000$ for a fragrance even though i have been tempted to lol 😅 😆 😂
