Hidden mega-trick that MM said we didnt have and a correction-. Haha.. the button on the end works fine.. it plays however many notes in the arpeggiator in sequence b4 it loops etc.. so by turning it to 1 u could only hear 2 beats instead of a maximum of 5 going up. (Setting 4) And u can freehand draw lines up and down in the piano roll to make crazy bends.. hold r1 and draw with r2.. (even MM said they didn't know how to do that on stream?! Lol) Your welcome folks.. hope it helps ty for reading.
Yes the bends thing I found later after someone asked what they were and showed me a screenshot. They are a pain when you add them accidentally though.
Until they put the sound app for Dreams back on that will let us add better quality audio clips you will have to put up with the quality of your headset microphone - not an awful lot you can do with a poor initial recording if your microphone is really that bad.
So do you need the Playstation Camera microphone to record your audio or does any mic on a headset work? Also can you do voice acting for your games or sound effects, it would be funny to have a game where the sound effect for taking damage is you just saying "ouch" in a monotone voice.
Great tutorial!! Glad I found your channel. Does anyone know how to make a square with rounded edges? I know I’m gonna feel dumb when someone tells me. Lol
Place an instrument into a timeline. Open up the instrument with L1+X. Choose Piano roll view. Press square if the menu is hidden. Select Tools (the wrench) and the Draw notes tool. Hover over the piano roll and press R2 and drag to draw.
Which menu? Please be aware that this is Part 2 of a tutorial, and it was made 3 years ago before the launch of Dreams, and they changed a few things - but most of what is here still applies.

Why couldn't the game at least explain how to draw notes? Thank you for the lessons.
Probably cause the game isn't out yet.
