I know many Trivium fans would disagree, but Vengeance Falls is Trivium's most progressive most daring album. This isn't to say that it's the best. But it's truly versatile.

only 2nd to Shogun, but the last 3 albums they have put out all tie for 2nd with VF

@@KameWeeb its pretty good. I look at it as what the dead men say vol 2. But it does have a bit more trowback to the Ascendancy and Ember style days. I suggest listening to it on youtube first before purchasing just to make sure you dont buy something you dont like.

The members in Trivium are among the most talented in the entire metal scene. They are second to nobody in pure ability. Such a good band. They write great melodies too. Love it!

Darach Meiklejohn There are bands that far exceed some talents of other bands. Though, that does not mean the band that can't compete with the other is terrible. There are different styles out there. Trivium has been a favorite of mine for a very long time, there is no denying that they are talented. But just because another band may musically exceed them, I wouldn't say that means that Trivium sucks.

I have overcame things some people will soon discover through my own success. It was always Trivium in my soul, and a tattoo on my leg. Everything Trivium has done will be put on a platform for everything I appreciate and love. I made it through Alcohol withdrawals, turning myself into Jail for DUIs, depression, anxiety, hoplessness, despair.
I gave up on life a few years ago but Trivium never gave up and I will always hold that dear to my life.

Yes!! My fav album btw. The album just had come out. They were selling copies (cd's). It was my first time hearing them, and I instantly fell in love. Crazy that my first time being introduced to Trivium, I saw them live. The bar (The Back Room) is small, so it was a very intimate experience. I will never forget it. Trivium, you rock!!

I applaud Trivium for making Strife as it's an amazing inspirational piece to make anyone's day more postive and empowering and energetic lyrics that show you have the power to overcome a lot more than you believe you are capable of and learning how others have overcome their own battles to fight your own ones better.
The instrumentals are wicked and the vocals are some of the most beautiful I have heard in any song plus the scenery they chose fits the mood of the song very well.
Plus the rad outfits, great camerawork and showing how they nail the poses and couple with them embodying the lyrics they sing in the most wicked way possible makes me love these guys even more.
Strife is a gem that has earned it's legendary status as a banger and Trivium the band behind it I hope get as much success as they can later on in their career as they have cemented themselves as timeless champions.

You can obviously note that they're not sticking to one play-style. Their simply experimenting. I was 14 when i first heard it. My brother got me into them actually and it might be my nostalgia kicking in, but even after these years and hearing their other albums-ascendancy is my favorite album. I guess i really like the fast picking tracks done in several songs and the growls by Matt with them harmonic solos XD But yeee. TRIVIUM FTW

holy shit 6 years later and they got even heavier!
I am serious. Ember to Inferno sounded so light compared to this. Good riffs, but there was something about it that just wasn't heavy. Don't know if it was just the standard tuning they used, the amps or recording equipment, whatever, but this is a whole lot heavier.

I'm not keeping up with them but checked out of curiousity. Seems like they truly are getting heavier over time. I've only gotten really into Ember to Inferno and Ascendancy, but just checked on them here and ther since.

***** Im a fan of rock/trash and i really enjoy this song. I've been listening Trivium since Ascendancy and i think they are getting better all the time. It doesn't matter if its "pop" or "mainstream", its still okay to like it.
Who says their are no good metal bands left, sure hasn't listened to these guys
