I know many Trivium fans would disagree, but Vengeance Falls is Trivium's most progressive most daring album. This isn't to say that it's the best. But it's truly versatile.

only 2nd to Shogun, but the last 3 albums they have put out all tie for 2nd with VF

@@KameWeeb its pretty good. I look at it as what the dead men say vol 2. But it does have a bit more trowback to the Ascendancy and Ember style days. I suggest listening to it on youtube first before purchasing just to make sure you dont buy something you dont like.

Darach Meiklejohn There are bands that far exceed some talents of other bands. Though, that does not mean the band that can't compete with the other is terrible. There are different styles out there. Trivium has been a favorite of mine for a very long time, there is no denying that they are talented. But just because another band may musically exceed them, I wouldn't say that means that Trivium sucks.

I am serious. Ember to Inferno sounded so light compared to this. Good riffs, but there was something about it that just wasn't heavy. Don't know if it was just the standard tuning they used, the amps or recording equipment, whatever, but this is a whole lot heavier.

+Chaos-Blades I don't know man, but ascendancy will always be my favorite album of theirs. I honestly purchase every single one of their albums, and each one has a different style to it. You can obviously note that they're not sticking to one play-style. Their simply experimenting. I was 14 when i first heard it. My brother got me into them actually and it might be my nostalgia kicking in, but even after these years and hearing their other albums-ascendancy is my favorite album. I guess i really like the fast picking tracks done in several songs and the growls by Matt with them harmonic solos XD But yeee. TRIVIUM FTW

I just got into trivium over the summer, needless to say I'm eagerly waiting for them to tour the states cause they became one of my favorites. was going to see them at welcome to Rockville in Florida but the lovely Florida weather had other plans and canceled their performance

Trivium is still fucking awesome, and i don't mean to compare, but they will never get the feeling they gave with Shogun. That album, the whole thing, is amazing. And i'm not saying they should stick to the same exact sound, but i feel like they've changed a bit too much.

Buy it on iTunes or somewhere you will get the highest quality of sound ( I would recommend Vinyl but the problem is finding a good player since most are very pricey )
+Ahmad Malki does i tunes have losless audio? i think just mp3. and vinyl is not good sounding or linear. Vinyl is harmonic analogue distortion which some people like.
You know you can actually buy the CD, or pirate a flac. Some setups are better at masking without sounding blunt or crappy like my home theater. It doesn't expose anything but still sounds great. Polk vanishing series in-walls ftw.

Yes!! My fav album btw. The album just had come out. They were selling copies (cd's). It was my first time hearing them, and I instantly fell in love. Crazy that my first time being introduced to Trivium, I saw them live. The bar (The Back Room) is small, so it was a very intimate experience. I will never forget it. Trivium, you rock!!
