- This 2009 Ford Fusion has an ABS light on with a C1095 code for the ABS pump motor circuit fault. We replace the valve and pump body with a used part and fix the car with no programming required. We also bleed the ABS and switch to DOT4 fluid.

“And we’ll see how many brake bleeders we can break off.” Even your short rough cut videos still capture your excellent dry wit.
Awesome Sean! (James Bond, right?) ;-)
Spraying oil on the pump bracket grommets first would have been quicker.
Long or short, I just enjoy watching you work as you give the RUclips community a glimpse into your life as a mechanic, shop owner, husband and father. Whether it's a 2 minute "would you look at this" or a 2 hour 2 part battle through cobbled up, rust and neglect, I for one will always click to see what Wes has been up to.
Its people like you that give a small smuck like me hope that one day I can get big!
@@RipRoaringGarage Put out the quality of content, quantity doesn't make a damn is my advice. Will check out your channel shortly and see if I don't decide to stick around lol
@@danmackintosh6325 Lol..yeah, not sure how quality I am. I can only do so much with video quality and whatnot...I think its going to be a while for me to bleed off older vids while I was learning...looking back, its hard not to think I sucked.
Lots of people like to watch the repair "What is in there?" and not be covered in grease and dirt at the end.
Gotta do what ya gotta do bud, will still watch whatever is put out
You have to make sure Wes, that you Family and Clients come first. It's awesome that you're able to give the time and content to watch. But we don't put food on the table or keep the roof over your head, whatever adjustments you need to make to ensure that all is well, then we'll have to adjust too. Keep safe and sane 👍
I’m watching any content you put out Wes. No matter how long or polished.
Ditto
I agree!
I know the editing takes a long time, but I really like the extended repair jobs. Maybe you could compromise and limit the editing and give us some partial raw footage. Either way, love your videos and knowledge!!
This
Whatever you can put up, whenever you can put it up, I'll always look forward to it.
I like the longer content, so long as the footage is good I don't mind, I mean I watch Diesel Creek and Mustle1 and their editing ain't too fancy :^)
Just for reference, I'm perfectly happy with the long format as well as the short. I watch them all.
Wes, seeing all the equipment that shows up at your shop, I've always wondered how you had the time and energy to do everything AND edit and upload videos. I watch everything you put out and watch some several times because they are relaxing. Enjoyed this one and looking forward to whatever you offer!
Could not agree more
Thanks to you and Mrs Wes for any content that your family put out for us, it is much appreciated 👍
I like the long videos but understand your reasoning. What I really appreciate is your tenacity and skill. I'm 68 and you teach me something new each video.
I for one love the longer 30, 40 or longer minutes videos.
However, shorter is better then nothing and quite understandable you too, only have 24hrs a day.
Looking forward to next video as always.
👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
I think shorter, more concise videos were a discussion of the 100k sub video. Any of your content is better than most. Thanks!
Good info on the video. I agree with everyone else family and business come first, but I will miss the long ones.
Do what you gotta do Wes. But I personally enjoyed the long videos. Gives me something to watch in the evenings.
as long as you don't cut Mrs. Hufflepuff, she adds depth, suspense, intrigue and just down right cuteness! I know she wouldn't like the last but its true. thanks so much for your effort and content!
I love this description of Mrs Wes’ contribution to the videos! It is spot on 👍
Nice job buddy! The county government taking care of the mechanics by adding the ABS test lane was a nice touch!
ABS test lane? Really, Now they have gone too far.
@watch wes work--see, even Hank likes the format even without using a single nut-rounder :-)
Balance indeed - always important Wes.
I am always happy with your offerings and so the changes are no problemo.
You say about the length of a video but on modern cars taking out simple things can take just as long as one of your videos I enjoy your content so please don’t shorten it too much thank you Wes
ty , i don't mind your multi part vids . your always a pleasure to watch
I support the new video format, as long as Max still gets a cameo in every one.
I’m sure many of us would just enjoy raw footage on some of the longer videos to save you from editing so much. Regardless I really enjoy, and learn a lot being a young tech, the exposure to your knowledge is priceless.
I enjoyed the long format videos. Great to watch while prepping a meal, but I can see that they took a lot of time.
Thanks for the content!
I'll watch whatever you put out, long, short, anything
No polish needed. Appreciate the extra time you put into these vids, very informative.
I will watch Wes work for any amount of time.
Wes, I like any kind of video you make. The important thing is what you do, not the length of the post. You take in whatever comes to your door-tractors, military heavy vehicles, riding lawnmowers, new and old trucks and, oh yeah, cars. I think you are what America needs, a solid work ethic and an open door. Keep it up!!!!
you forgot toy trains
@@martinsnyder4947 Rats! Missed the most important thing, your son’s toy train!
Personally, I love the long videos, but I understand what you’re saying. I’ll watch any video you put out there!
I have a great idea!!!! How bout if I do all the camera work and editing for you?? For FREE!!!! That’s a GREAT idea!!!!!!!!!
Understand the time with longer videos. Will miss them but you gotta make a living. Always enjoy what you put out.
I don’t mind the long videos, do what ever works best for you.
Do whatever you need to do, your content is always appreciated.
Love the new strategy. Whatever you put out, we will watch!
Those crows feet line wrenches are worth there waiting gold when you need them!
Wes. Greetings from Sydney during strict lockdown. I’ve been binging your posts for a month now and I love your work and great sense of humour. Keep that going. New format only increases interest. Good stuff mate! 👌🇦🇺🍻
This is one of those jobs ( AS A DIY'ER ) that you're at the mercy of somebody with a Scan Tool THAT ACTUALLY WORKS WITH YOUR VEHICLE & THAT SUCKS FOR US. YES SIR, YOU GOT A BIT LUCKY, SIR WES & FINALLY HAD A EASY JOB, FOR YOU THAT IS. THANKS, Henry from N.E. PA. I like my VEHICLES that when I open the hood I CAN ACTUALLY SEE THE GROUND, LOL. NOT BY BEING ALL RUSTED EITHER, THANKS AGAIN, SIR WES.
Wes, you could make 10 hour long videos, and I would watch them. It's the minute long quickies that don't satisfy. All hail the algorithm.
Good video, I enjoyed it. You do whatever you need to so it is sustainable. It is alway a highlight when I see a WWW video ready no matter the length!
I love the longer videos, but I do understand where you're coming from Wes :)
I enjoy the longer videos but I also understand that you have family to take care of and customers to take care of I will still watch and enjoy all the videos you put out
Always enjoy your videos no matter how long and seeing your family. You are a very lucky guy
Ayy up Wes and Mrs Wes, Another good vlog love watching any size vlog you up load.Keep up the good work see you on your next vlog.
Wes, you're great! I'll watch any video you put up. I don't care if they are 40 seconds, 40 minutes, or 40 hours. I learn something new every time I watch - you teach, and good teachers impart knowledge in 40 seconds or 40 hours, it doesn't matter. Teaching is a gift, and you have it. Whatever is right for you, is AOK for me.
Wes I appreciate your time that you take to put these videos together.
Always enjoy your videos, Wes... regardless of how long they are.
Always love your content and sorry the video editing takes so much time. Thanks for taking us along.
Whatever length videos you need/want to put together, we'll watch em. 👍🏻
Just so you know, I love your long format videos. You’re very good at editing and keeping the video interesting even after 45min 👍🏻 keep up the good work
I hear ya on the time constraints. I've enjoyed your videos and appreciate the time you take to explain the issues and causes. Despite my years of experience, I've always learned from your videos, thanks for that.
its ok for the shorter videos.your primary income is from repairs, not videos.we understand how the video processing & editing can eat up alot of time.precious time where you could be making another repair.thanks for letting us look over your shoulder from time to time.i personally have learned alot.thanks wes.we appreciate all you do.
Thanks for the video Wes . Your lovely assistant is aways so happy when it comes to brakes.
Your video are great. I could watch you work for days. You give so much info and help me think outside the box on testing things. Thank you
Shot or long, content is always informative and witty. Appreciated. Grazie Mille!
Wes, I'm always glad to watch whatever you put out whenever it comes out, family, sanity, and work come first. Keeping you sane is a priority. 👍
Nicely done. Best channel for diagnostics and quality of repairs.
Completely understandable with videos - balance it out.
Had a 2009 Escape V6 I purchased for a few hundred bucks back in May. Clean southern vehicle. Engine spun a bearing. Replaced engine successfully (fun!) and decided to flush the fluids I hadn't touched. After finishing bleeding the brakes, I went for a test drive and found the brake pedal goes to the FLOOR. Activated a service bleed, still on the floor. Did a regular bleed, still going to the floor. Then my research on Google led me to thousands of posts about people's brake pedal going to the floor. Going onto Ford Service info and a RUclips video I learned about the ABS Modulator Valve assembly having 1 or more valves stick inside causing the fluid to circulate inside the modulator. I also learned the ABS Control Module can have solider joint failures internally which will cause com errors. Using my Autel Maxisys, I started using the bidirectional controls to test inlet/outlet valves and motors. After visiting 3 U Pull It yards, and piecing together a Control Module and a Modulator valve that both worked and were compatible with a 2009 (which meant lots of testing with the Autel), regular bleed, service bleed then regular bleed, I had a like new brake pedal. 2006-12 Fusions and 09-12 Escapes both suffer from the same issue, yet only the Fusions were recalled...
Very Informative, Appreciate You Having Us Along. Catch You On The Next One.
Love your longer videos but understand your time pressures...you are a genius at this stuff and it's a pleasure to watch...keep 'em coming.
Great videos Wes, your videos are not to long, keep up the great work.
You add value to my minuscule knowledge of modern automotive intel, thanks, keep 'em coming
Wes first responsibility is work then RUclips. I know all of us are happy with anything you make.
I love the long videos and I love the short videos, I want to see all that you’re willing to show. Keep up the good work Wes!
Your efforts are greatly appreciated. Thanks for the education.
I like the in-depth dive you take shows how a "technician" operations not a parts changer 👍👏
Impressive and outstanding. Family and business comes first and second. Videos last. Excellent work.
Love watching your video's no matter the length. Keep up the great work.
Long or short on video as long you keep the content coming I really appreciate the time and effort you put into making the videos. Now I can truly understand and appreciate the hard work you have to to fix these vehicles and some of these hard to reach parts
A big thank you to all the brake bleeding assistants out there. You know who you are.
For those of us without fancy scan tools, a great way to bleed ABS systems is to do an initial bleed, then find your nearest ABS test lane and let the ABS bang away, then come back and re-bleed.
I greatly enjoy your videos, warts and all. Whatever running length you feel works best for you is what you should do. Thanks for all your honest and hard work in producing such informative offerings.
Always enjoy your videos no matter the length have a great weekend!
Job well done Wes , love watching performance test on fixes. Now the owner will pleased to have it back in working order. All viewers saw it working.
Wes, you have no idea how awesome these videos are.
I do understand what your saying about the videos.
Just so you know.......I for one , enjoy watching every minute of them.
Thanks Wes !
About 30 minute videos are the best I think, you have really good content, very educational, hope you continue
Wes, everyone wants more not less. Please set up a Patreon and I will support, and I don’t want any “extra content.” Thank you for everything you do. It’s wonderful entertainment
Wes, "You got to do what you got to do". I like the longer content but I'm doubly retired, USMC/Calif. police officer. I watch with a Jack and Coke and learn stuff that I'll never use. BUT, I enjoy it. I'll watch whatever you put out. Tell the lady brake pumper to cheer up!
Every day is a school day on a watch Wes work video, along with seeing Mrs Wes and family! I'll keep watching like some of the other comments report no matter what the length. I hear what you're saying though - short and sweet works!
No Worries, Wes; I'll take whatever you can give. Thanks for including two of your three helpers; I guess Kiddo was out moving hay, huh?
I greatly appreciate your time and efforts expended on publishing any and all of your videos. Bonus "double header " on braking electrical this morning, 9 minutes after your upload, SMA's Eric O published a video on Honda electric e-brake harness. Great start to a Saturday thanks to the both of you!
I like the way you get down in the weeds and nerd out explaining why you're doing something or how it works. Even showing us new tools you get like the Pico is cool. Keep it up buddy.
I do like the long videos, especially with some of the older and more complex repairs. But this was really nice. Quick and simple. Great video!
Well done 👍 Short, sweet and complete, including obligatory screen time for Max. You are the main reason I chose the 906bt; thanks for your content.
I like the longer videos but I understand it's a lot of extra work, but I'm still going to watch you work
For the record. I enjoy the long "meandering" videos, but understand you also need to be productive and pay bills. So for my part, THANK YOU!
I love the long vid’s but completely understand that it is a huge workload for you to do them. So I completely understand why you’ve had to curtail them. After all, you have a living to make and a life outside of work and RUclips. Whatever content you put out, I’ll watch it. Keep up the great work, Wes and Mrs. Wes.
Good videos regardless of the length. Found your instructions are always very helpful. Thanks!
I enjoy watching your videos no matter what. Thanks for the effort it takes to deliver it to us.
I like the longer videos, but whatever works best for your balance Wes! Happy with whatever you put out! 🇦🇺
I actually like the long intricate videos. But I also like the short videos as a refresher. Whatever is easiest for you Wes
Love your content Wes - I’ll watch how ever long.
I hope some long form videos still show up now and then but understand why they can’t for every video. Today I was just happy to see a new video!
Do what you need to man. Love any of the content! Appreciate what you content creators make for us
You keep throwing them up, we'll keep watching and liking them man.
Good one Wes, folks don't understand how long it takes to produce even 30 minute show. Just happy to hear the "wisdoms of Wes". Don't care for seeing your shorts...uh.. Short vids....oh hell....you know what I mean
I owned a 2007 fusion. One of the worst vehicles that has ever been my sorry pleasure to own. At 65000, the ecm took a dump. At 73000, the window regulator went out. At 75000, the head gasket began leaking. That's when it went bye bye. Keep up the good work. Love the videos, no matter how short or long.
Keep pumping out videos, I enjoy the long ones!
I personally like your long detailed videos. I also understand why you would make shorter ones.
Any video you make is just fine.Thank you for putting up with doing them
Love the long videos. Thank you for the efforts
I appreciate the videos and the effort you take to make them.
