Rules were drastically different QBs had to be tough as nails Late hits, cheap shots hits to the head were just part of the game. And the way DBs could hold and hit and manhandle receivers had a lot to do with completion % , interceptions and overall QB ratings. Don't forget Bradshaw threw at least one TD in the 4th qtr of all 4 Super Bowls
