Set more than a decade after the events of the first film, Avatar: The Way of Water follows the journey of Jake Sully and Neytiri's newfound family. Despite their best efforts to keep their family together, a familiar threat resurfaces and forces Jake, Neytiri, and their four children to flee to the land of the Metkayina clan.
Avatar: The Way of Water's plot will be a fully-encapsulated, standalone narrative, as will the other sequels, but will also be part of a meta-narrative that extends across Avatar: The Way of Water, Avatar 3, 4 and 5.

I'm very excited for the dlc because it's not long to July so it should give ubisoft sometime to give the game a few bug fixes I have the ikran patterns for the kinglor forest and the clouded forest on 2 different save files I hope we get that fixed soon and I hope we get new things from the store and new gear and weapons for crafting.
My biggest hope is that they’ll add some way for the operation sites and outposts to be taken over by the RDA again so there can be some replayability for saves that already beat the base game
That is a cool idea. Adding more things that we could do with the RDA would be a great idea.
Make it like Ghost of Tsushima where you can just hover over it on the map and hit replay on each area you already completed would be cool
Sometimes when you revisit the bases you defeated, new RDA troops will be dropped off there while you’re hanging around the base. I like to think it’s the RDA coming back to reclaim the base, but if you don’t take them out then they just despawn. I think having some form of replayability with the RDA bases would be a lot of fun. Even if you don’t get specific rewards for replaying them, it would be nice to try different ways to defeat the bases like stealth versus full blown mayhem.
I think it would be better if the direhorse skins where just random spawns or locstion based.
Then again, this is another way for them to make money and leap old are attracted to having a choice in the matter.
EDIT: I meant to say “people”, not “leap old”.
I think it may be a mix of both; but we will have to wait and see
I’m so glad I got the gold edition which comes with the two DLC I badly wanted to see the zakru walk in one day

Honestly the trailer is pretty underwhelming, though for a while I expected DLC 1 to be inferior to DLC 2
However, Ubisoft does say a few more things on their website, most notably:
-The Upper Plains are either getting an expansion or they will use the mostly unused area on the NE of the upper plains. The Upper Plains are my least favorite of the 3 areas but maybe there will be some cool new stuff
-2 new enemy types, a shield AMP and likely a mini boss AMP
-Character max level increased to 25. Though Ubisoft did not clarify, this likely means stronger gear and more rare plants to collect. It would be interesting to see what level I will be after the update because I hit 20 a while ago
-More skills, I have unlocked all skills and still have 6 unspent points
-Timed Challenges which they already sort of have to get some beads or whatever at Aranahe Tree. I hope these ones give something different. These are likely mini games related to the "Festival of Games" which is probably some sort of Navi Olympics
-A new legendary crafting level?!?! I honestly don't know what this means but it might be required to hit level 25
-Finally, a new storyline. I hope we get new quests in the old parts of the map as well. Either I will still play on the hardest difficulty exploration mode so I am not done in 5 hours

Need more new creatures
I think it would be cool if the games could be more of a sort of triathlon where there'd be a running section, then you'd do the direhorse bit with the bow and then finally you'd finish the race riding your ikran to the finish
I am excited for the games and we won’t have to wait much longer
I don't want to sound picky, but with running games it is a real shame that we don't see any other na'vi running, I mean real competitors. In that case what we see it is just beating score by ourselves (guess this is one time run challenge). On the other hand dlc is doing great work with what really charmed me in base game - participating in na'vi gathering and seeing them doing their stuff with peace and joy 😊.
yeah, same in the battles we are always alone, the final battle was disappointing to me. i remember that in the old game other na'vis were fighting with us
Well, we almost Don't know anything about It. We didn't even Saw if we can repeat them, how much time we have... Perhaps, we Will have competitors. We have to wait first

So we finally have a release date for the first dlc of Avatar Frontiers of Pandora, which is pretty much good news. Considering it is releasing on Steam, i might finally jump into the journey of a Na'vi upon next mid july. I had installed the game from ubisoft launcher along ubi+ subscription for The Crew Motorfest too but never started it at least once to discover a bit except no, and uni took me so i forgot. Now it is a good time to go on i guess from a fresh install.

I love seeing the Aranahe member taking down the Zeswa, because, one of things I’ve noticed about the other 2 clans, they absolutely HATE on the Aranahe, it shows how brutal such a understood clan can be

When I 1st speculated that the dlc would be released in ether June or July so i hope that we get bug fixes like the ikran patterns instead of being in 1 save file because i have 2 different save files 1 of the clouded forest and 1 of the kinglor forest and i hope that we get new crafting weapons and gear and some from the store.

Sorry I am new at gaming. I think I now what a dlc is but I'm not really sure. And I definitely don't know how or where to get them. Are they automatically in the game when it's realeased, is it in an online ps store or do we have to PAY MONEY again for dlcs in general. And where and how will this dlc be available? There was the information that it would be available in the season pass. People who bought the Collectors edition were told this is inkluded. Does that mean that they will get the dlc automatically?

dlc stands for downloadable content. You can get it automatically by buying the game in gold edition or higher, or you'll have to PAY MONEY again once it releases
If you got the Collector's Edition (as well as the Ultimate or Gold editions) you automatically get the DLC shown in the video as well as the DLC that will be released later this year. You do not have to pay anymore for these. Most likely will just need to update your game the day the DLC is released or if you have not already you will need to redeem a code that came with the game if it is a physical copy.
Dlc is usually extra additions to the basic game that you pay extra money for (this dlc is 40 USD). You can buy it online from the PlayStation store and it should give you the option to download or apply it after purchase. After that, you can just start the game and it should already be there. DO NOT buy the dlc if you bought the gold or ultimate version of the game because it is included. If you have a CD for the game, a small paper with a code also came with it. You need to type that code into the PlayStation store under the “redeem code” section. After that, the code should apply to the game and you can enjoy the content in July. Hope this helps friend.

I’m really excited for this dlc but I wonder why the direhorses are red during the migration? Is it some kind of dye for celebration and will the clan leave kites 🪁 as the continue the migration as I believe somewhere it is mentioned so many questions!
I also have many questions but I do wonder if Ubi will sell the Direhorse skin patterns on the store?

I was so disappointed when I unlocked the spear thrower I really thought it was gonna be a melee weapon with the option of throwing it. I really want melee weapons it just feels wrong to not have any at all
When will the new zones of DLC expansion be accessible in game? As in upon finish the base game story?
I am not entirely sure just yet; considering that it takes place after the campaign, I would imagine so yeah

Guys, coming from the future to say that the DLC is shit, it doesn't add anything worthwhile.
I got ultimate edition for pc. So if get the normal edition for ps5 but sign in with my Ubisoft account that has ultimate edition will I still have ultimate edition on ps5 w/ a new game?
Not that I am aware of; only store content, like skins, transfers over. I have not tested that theory but I have purchased skins on PC which then appeared on my PS5
I really really want a third person mode. I like to see the character i created, not only while riding.
I hope they add it as part of an update when the DLC arrives
There was actually a glitch that brung your character in third person, like it was a full scale model, I remember seeing a clip of a na’vi beating up a cloaked panther
(Edit): the Glitch is sadly gone 😔
I also think a third person mode would get more people excited about the cosmetic extras. You can currently buy Qutfits for real money, but what's the point if you barely see them?
You don't even see your own character in the cut scenes. This makes character creation feel wasted and that's a shame.
I think Ubisoft could get a lot more money out of the game if it allowed the player to see their character permanently.

I would like the game (and dlc) much better without the RDA. Such a beautiful world with so much potential and then combine it with crap people with crappy blunt weapons with a crappy attitude. It was lucky there was this level-20 base OP bow and mostly ludicrous repetitively simple RDA AI otherwise I would never have finished the base game. I hope at some stage we get such a beautiful world done the right way, like with the Horizon series.
i would love a calm DLC with no combat, no RDA. just us chilling with our ikran and doing things na'vi does every day

@@bruno4299 There is a lot in between Narnia and what you consider an fps. Mindless shooting dumb, endless amounts of baddies might appeal to you, but we have way too many of those games already. With such a beautiful world so much more is possible.

Sadly the game didn’t get the support I had hoped for… but the community is still active and we will have to wait and see how the DLC is received
